Astrophotographer Dave Bell says Wyoming is one of the best places in the country for Milky Way season, which just started. His favorite photo, which took him two years to get, has the Milky Way rising out of Square Top in Bridger-Teton National Forest.

“Covid Through The Lens “. A 2020 Photography Yearbook.

My new book is now in its second printing as the first printing sold out quickly. Thank you to everyone who purchased the first batch.

The book is 220 pages and 196 images printed in a coffee table size. The colors are very vibrant. The book is only photography taken during calendar year 2020. Most of the photos are western Wyoming but there is some stuff from Montana, Colorado and South Dakota.

The book is organized by month with a short monthly summary at the beginning of each chapter. It follows the Covid theme but demonstrates not everywhere was extremely locked down and life did go on somewhat normally where I live.

The price is $75 which includes shipping.

Checking interest in a five day/four night photography workshop middle of July. Location to be the Upper Green. Accommodations to be clean modern log cabins. Huge News! Due to a group cancellation our Wind River Photography Expedition has moved to a later date in the summer mountain season. Originally scheduled for a July 6 lauch, we will now head for the high country around the Cook Lakes on July 24. This is a fully-supported trip led by yours truly with the goal of mastering your camera, RAW and Post Processing. I have two opening that I still hope to fill--message me with your interest!
