A little fall-to-winter outfit inspiration 🤎🍂

Think chunky knits, cozy layers, corduroy, denim, flowy fabrics, and earthy tones like warm cream, chocolate brown, muted burgundy, and dusty blue. Add boots, beanies, and scarves for that effortlessly cozy, slightly moody feel!

A little reminder that dressing warm can be just as beautiful as it is practical! These chilly transitional months can make for some of the dreamiest family photos, full of texture, warmth, and that nostalgic, lived-in feeling I love so much!

With Utah’s chilly weather right around the corner, studio sessions are always such a good option for maternity and family photos!
You can still get that beautiful, intentional look while staying warm and comfortable indoors. And if you’re bringing the kiddos along, even better! No freezing little fingers, cold noses, or trying to convince everyone to be happy when it’s 35 degrees outside😂
Studio sessions can be cozy, intimate, a little moody, or whatever feels most like you. Cold weather doesn’t mean you have to put photos on hold. We can still create something really beautiful together!

This session was just the sweetest! Letting the kids run wild, catch praying mantises, explore the stream, play ring around the rosies and snuggle up to mom for a little story time. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the sky decided to show off and give us the prettiest cotton candy skies!
The whole night felt like a pretty illustrated page from a children’s book and I don’t think I could’ve dreamt of a sweeter evening 🤍

A little reminder that not everyone advertising photography services online is who they claim to be. Unfortunately, people are getting scammed by photographers across all niches. Fake portfolios, stolen images, no contracts and photographers who take payment and disappear.
A few things to remember:
-affordable doesn’t automatically mean it’s a scam
-being new doesn’t automatically mean someone is untrustworthy
-having a beautiful website or thousands of followers doesn’t automatically make someone legitimate
But please do your research, ask questions, read the contract, verify their work.
Photography is an investment in memories you can’t recreate and you deserve to know who you’re trusting with them!

There’s something so special about being invited into these in between seasons of people’s lives. To be trusted with documenting the anticipation, the little touches, the laughter, the quiet moments, and all the love that exists before meeting your baby face to face 🥹🤍 I feel so incredibly grateful and honored to have preserved this chapter for this amazing couple, in such a beautiful season and with so much love and joy and anticipation. So so excited and happy for them!! And so obsessed with the photos we were able to create together!
