Last week was the Midsummer Night's Cruise on Watermark with the Anne Arundel County Chamber. It is one of the most fun events of the year, and I not only see lots of people that I know and like, but I also meet new people as well, people with whom I later do business.

Here are some of the photos from the evening, for those that went to remember, and those that didn't to be inspired to go next year!

Anne Arundel County is full of great businesses, and great people in general. I'm working with 5 different chambers now, because we all work together and because when we work together, we rise together. I am going to start doing a post from each event, so that people can see the energy of the event. If you want, you can look for all the photos in the photo albums.

Here is the first One:
The Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce recently did a Bus Tour, which last year was an idea that got resurrected from years gone by. What a great idea! I did both, and they were utterly different.

We started by going to the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and discussing the plans on deck for improving runways and even the tower. As we went from one place to another, there was information on many parts of the county. We also visited Fort Meade Executive Airport, formerly Tipton Airport. There was lunch at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Odenton, then a drive by to the construction at City Dock, and a visit to the Jack C Taylor Conference Center at the Naval Academy (a truly beautiful venue for big or small gatherings). The tour finished at Annapolis Mall, which has new ownership and big plans for revitalization. I can't wait to see the changes coming!

There are some amazing photos, but the rain was pretty bad much of the day, so the ones from the bus are not as great.
