I am an internationally exhibited fine art aerial photographer based in Maryland, USA. Some of my favorite subjects are sunrises/sunsets, bridges/architecture, and anything nautical. I love to play with reflections on water which can be very challenging from higher altitudes. All of my work to date is digital photography recorded from a drone.

A little late as this week kind of got away from m but here are some of my pictures of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Navy's F-35 during the United States Naval Academy's Commissioning Week Flight Demonstrations and Practice Run.

We were anchored on the Reel Nauti near Carr Point on the

As always, it is an honor to see these pilots fly with such precision and a lot of fun to photograph. Prints and/or digitals are available for personal and/or editorial use without watermarks. Message me if you are interested.

For anyone following my post on my latest travels to , here is a quick teaser...

I got 4 lighthouses on my first day here... then I had real work (bummer, but only kind of)... tomorrow though is going to be busy. I am going to try to squeeze in 6 lighthouses down the from Doubling Point to the Atlantic Ocean.

I only have a window of about 2 hours to work with before I have to head back to the airport tomorrow!

Here's one of my favorite shots from (straight from the drone, no post processing yet)

Super excited to head up to Maine for a quick business trip. I was lucky enough that my flight times arriving and leaving will afford me a few hours to explore and photograph lighthouses along the coast!

If all goes to plan. I should be able to squeeze 5-6 lighthouses into this trip!

Can't wait to publish them when I get back.

These are the moments that we live for. Loved seeing my little guy try skiing for the first time. Big thanks to Uncle Chris Hubbard for Brad's first skis, boots, lift ticket, and most of all -- the memories!

For me though, what I saw through the lens and even more when I started post processing this evening... was that my boy was looking right at me every time he came down the hill to make sure that Daddy was watching him... It makes me realize that as much as he is the center of my world, I am very much the center of his too!

Jackie Brower and I loved seeing Brad have fun in a new way and we can't wait to do it again. Maybe next time, he'll keep his skis on a little longer :-)

Oh how things have changed. This year, we got hit with Tropical Storm Debby. But we are making the best of it. Other than rain and a few closures of businesses, everything has gone pretty well!

These are my two favorite people in the whole world and I love seeing them together!

Have you ever wondered, "How realistic are your pictures?", "How much editing do you do?", or "That has to be PhotoShopped, right?"

The top image is straight out of my camera. I shoot in manual mode, with a variety of purpose-selected lenses. In this particular case, the picture was taken with my Canon EOS R5, RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens. 1/200 sec, f/11, ISO 1250, focal length of 53mm, and a white balance of 4900.

When I edit, I do color grade to address some of the washout that occurs, especially when I am shooting towards the sun (which I love to play with Contre-jour -- a technique of pointing the camera directly towards the light).

When all is said and done, most of my photography comes out looking about this much different from the original unless I'm going for a more artistic vision. So, sometimes I do take creative liberties but most of the time... this is what you get.
