Smokey Mountain National Park elopement with Aaron & Lizzy. The Smokey mountain fog was settling all around the mountains from the rain and it was STUNNING. I shot this starting at 5:30pm-like 7pm and had the full gallery returned to her by 11pm

When I started my photography business 5 years ago, I dreamed of this moment. I didn’t romanticize my dream I chased it. As hard as I could. I started with wedding photography, and realized my favorite part of the day was connecting with my couple, bride and groom portraits, and detail shots. That is basically what an elopement consists of. THE BEST PARTS. I started with offering shoots on a local to me bluff to resemble the closest mountain to me, the Smokey Mountains! I used those pictures to advertise in that area and was successful in booking multiple clients. While shooting in Gatlinburg, I tried find locations with wildflowers and mountains to resemble out west to use to advertise. Once again I was successful in booking even farther away elopements. This years I’ve had the honor and adventure of traveling to:
Washington
Montana
North Carolina
Kansas
The Great Smokey Mountains

These are just a few of my favorite shots from ‘26 elopements. We are a little over halfway through the year, and what a beautiful one it’s been! To say I’ve stood on mountains and witnessed true love again and again is truly a blessing. To say I’m doing it for work, is an even bigger one. My grandpa always said “If you love want you do, you will never work a day in your life.” I’m thankful to say I love what I do so much, it genuinely doesn’t feel like work. We only have one life to live, and in thankful to be living it to the fullest I can and chasing my dreams.
