🌻 Branigan & Steven 🌻

What a beautiful, emotional day at Farm 1893 in Berlin Heights, Ohio.

Sunflowers filled the day, but Branigan was the one truly shining. Her gown absolutely sparkled in the sunlight, while Steven and their little guy RJ brought a little personality to their wedding-day look with their blue shoes. And sweet Vera? She was just too cute!

There were so many happy tears, so much laughter, and so much love throughout the entire day. It was one of those weddings where you could truly feel how excited everyone was to celebrate Branigan & Steven.
From the sunflowers and sunshine to the sweet moments with RJ & Vera, every part of this day came together beautifully. 🌻

There’s just something about summer evenings, golden light, and a field full of sunflowers.
This year’s summer minis at the Medina sunflower field were filled with so many sweet moments — growing families, little ones, couples in love, lots of laughs, and memories that deserve to be frozen in time.
And can we talk about this field?! 😍 Between the sunflowers, those dramatic summer skies, and the golden light peeking through, Mother Nature definitely understood the assignment.
These are the kinds of photos I love most — beautiful portraits mixed with the little in-between moments that show exactly what your family and your love look like right now. Because seasons change, kids grow, and these moments go way too fast. 🌻

Behind the camera, capturing the moments that will eventually become someone’s favorite memories.

When I’m photographing a wedding, I’m not just thinking about getting a pretty picture. I’m watching the light, fixing dresses, checking bouquets, looking for genuine smiles, keeping an eye out for the little moments happening in between—and probably telling everyone, “Okay, one more!” about five times. 😂

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of a wedding day, but I truly love being right in the middle of it.
After more than a decade of capturing weddings, I still get excited knowing that the photos I’m taking today will be hanging on someone’s walls years from now.

Time has a way of slipping by faster than we realize.

One day, the little hands you're holding won't be so little anymore. The classic car Grandpa loves will become part of the family stories. The laughter, the walks, the hugs, and even the little adventures will become memories.

That's why I love family photography.

It's not about perfect poses. It's about preserving the people, the relationships, and the moments that make your family uniquely yours.

These are the images that will be framed on your walls, shared with future generations, and looked back on years from now with smiles, laughter, and maybe even a few tears.

Some sessions just feel like catching up with old friends... and this one was exactly that.
I've known Mackenzie and Ryan for a few years now, so getting to capture this exciting chapter of their lives was extra special. We spent the evening surrounded by country views, a cozy picnic setup, and so much excitement as they count down the days until they meet their sweet baby boy, Hudson, this September.
I have to admit... I kept accidentally calling Ryan "Brad" because he had me convinced I was photographing Brad Paisley all evening. 😂
Mackenzie & Ryan, thank you for trusting me once again to capture another milestone in your story. I can't wait to meet little Hudson and watch your family grow. Wishing you both the very best during these last few weeks before your greatest adventure begins. 💙

Many of you know Bob.
For nearly a decade, he's been by my side helping capture weddings and special moments for so many incredible couples.
This time, it was my turn to capture memories for the people who matter most to him.
What an honor it was to photograph the family of someone who has helped make so many memories possible for others.

Sometimes love is just like the sunset...

At the start of this session, the skies looked like they might have other plans. The clouds rolled in, and rain seemed inevitable. But we waited, trusted the process, and just when we thought we had seen the best of the evening, the sun broke through.

Kind of like love.

Even when life feels uncertain, the brightest moments often arrive when you least expect them.

Next May, these two will say "I do" surrounded by wildflowers, so it only felt right to capture this chapter of their story in a field full of them. I already know their wedding day is going to be just as beautiful as these two.

I can't wait to celebrate you both. ❤️
