Senior Spotlight: Parker, Class of 2026🎓

Today we're celebrating Parker McShannon, a member of the Class of 2026 from Millard North High School!

Parker is someone who knows how to balance work and fun. When he's not at school, you'll often find him on the baseball field, reading a good book, or spending time playing video games. His creativity and passion for gaming have even inspired his future career goals.

After graduation, Parker hopes to pursue a career as a video game designer, combining his interests and imagination into a profession he truly enjoys. It's always exciting to hear seniors talk about dreams they're passionate about, and I can't wait to see where that path takes him.

One thing that stood out during Parker's senior session was how much fun he had throughout the experience. When asked about his favorite part of the session, he shared that he simply enjoyed getting the photos taken and having a fun experience!

What surprised him most? Just how much he loved the final images!
"I was surprised at how awesome they turned out."

And if you know Parker, it probably won't surprise you that one of his favorite images was taken in front of a colorful graffiti wall featuring some of his favorite gaming characters. It was the perfect location to incorporate a little bit of his personality and interests into his senior portraits, making the images feel uniquely him.

When asked what advice he would give future seniors, Parker offered some simple but valuable wisdom:
"Do the work and don't fall behind."

It's great advice for surviving senior year and preparing for whatever comes next.
Parker, thank you for trusting me to capture this exciting milestone. It was so much fun creating images that reflected who you are and the things you love. I hope these photos always remind you of this special season of life and all the possibilities that lie ahead.

Senior Spotlight: Cooper, Class of 2026🎓

It's time to celebrate another incredible member of the Class of 2026!

Meet Cooper Farley, a senior at Westview High School who has spent his high school years focused on academics, friendships, and making memories along the way.

Whether he's spending time with friends or working toward his goals, Cooper has made the most of his high school experience.

Throughout his time at Westview, Cooper earned Honor Roll recognition, a reflection of his hard work and dedication in the classroom.

This fall, Cooper will be heading to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to begin an exciting new chapter. College is a big step, and I have no doubt he's ready for everything that comes next.

Like many senior boys, Cooper admitted he wasn't exactly looking forward to having his photos taken. In fact, when asked about his experience, he said he enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would!

Honestly, that's one of my favorite responses! My goal is always to make senior sessions relaxed, easy, and enjoyable, especially for seniors who aren't thrilled about being in front of the camera.

One thing that surprised Cooper was how much he liked the location we chose for his session. The setting was the perfect backdrop and helped create images that felt natural, authentic, and uniquely him.

When asked what advice he'd give future seniors, Cooper kept it simple:
"Enjoy it!"

Senior year goes by faster than anyone expects, and those two words are a great reminder to soak up every moment. Cooper, thank you for trusting me with your senior photos and for being so easy to work with. Your kind words meant so much:
"Appreciate you being so easy to work with. Really pleased with the photos!"🫶

Senior Spotlight: Grace, Class of 2026 🎓

It was a joy getting to know Grace during her senior session! A senior at Omaha Central High School, Grace is the perfect example of what it looks like to make the most of your high school years.

When she's not in class, you can find her on the golf course, working out, hunting for treasures while thrifting, or planning her next travel adventure. Her hard work and dedication have certainly paid off. Grace maintained a 4.0+ GPA throughout all eight semesters of high school, earned a Varsity Golf Letter, received a JEA Honorable Mention in News Editing, Current Events, and Headline Writing, and has already earned more than $20,000 in scholarships.

This fall, Grace will be heading to the University of Kansas, where she plans to major in Public Administration and Political Science. With her drive, intelligence, and determination, there's no doubt she has an exciting future ahead of her.

One of Grace's favorite parts of her senior photo experience was spending time exploring the riverfront and chatting throughout the session. She was surprised by how bright and vibrant her final images turned out, and honestly, they fit her personality perfectly.

When asked what advice she would give upcoming seniors, Grace shared:
"Do as much as you can and have no regrets."

I think that's advice we could all take to heart.🫶

Grace, congratulations on all you've accomplished and everything that lies ahead.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve introduced myself, so let's fix that 👋

Hi, I’m Carrie, the face behind C. Marie Photography & Design. (You know, first name Carrie, middle name Marie😂) If you’ve been around here for a while, you probably already know a few of my favorite things to do...

I also have a love for 80s rock music (it’s usually playing in the background while I’m working), and yes… I’ll admit... my guilty pleasure is watching America’s Next Top Model. IYKYK🤣

I married my HighSchool sweetheart and I'm a mom to three amazing boys plus 2 daughters in love. I'm a photographer, graphic designer, and creative at heart. I do my best to live and love like Jesus every day, and enjoy pretty much anything in the sunshine☀

Whether I’m helping a senior celebrate an exciting milestone, creating branding images for a small business owner, or designing something that helps a client shine, I genuinely love what I get to do.

It's filled with talented, hardworking women who are showing up consistently, supporting one another, growing their businesses, and absolutely kicking butt. Every time we get together, I'm inspired by what these women are building, and I can honestly say that the members who committed to this year are so grateful they did.

Meet Adelenne, Class of 2026🎓🫶

Adelenne is graduating from Brownell Talbot and heading to UC San Diego this fall, and what an incredible senior year she has had! From theater, orchestra, chorus, and a ca****la to serving as President of National Honor Society and House Leader at Brownell Talbot, Addy has truly made the most of every opportunity.

Her long list of accomplishments is beyond impressive, including Varsity Letters in Theatre, Chorus, and Orchestra, being named a Greater Omaha Area Youth Salute honoree, an NSAA Believers & Achievers Finalist, earning the Nebraska Department of Education’s Platinum Seal of Biliteracy, and being recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. But beyond all the achievements, what stood out most during Addy’s session was how genuine and grounded she is.

Addy shared that her favorite part of her senior session was simply getting to have a super fun day! She loved exploring fun locations with Carrie, posing in unique spots, and feeling relaxed and natural instead of stiff or awkward. Honestly, that’s exactly what I hope every senior experiences during their session.

One of my favorite things she said was: “The real glow-up is being comfortable with who you already were.” 💛 I absolutely love that perspective, and I think it’s such a beautiful reminder for seniors heading into this exciting new season of life.

Congratulations, Addy! You are headed for amazing things at UCSD, and I cannot wait to see all you accomplish next! 🎓✨
