**Attention Blue Mountain Beach / Forest Lakes / 30a Residents**

Hello Everyone, we are currently assisting with the search for a dog named Koda who has been missing since last Friday, January 9th. He ran away from his owner in the Blue Mountain Beach / 30A area. We have been conducting daytime and nighttime flights using a thermal-equipped drone to scan wooded areas and hard-to-reach terrain that are difficult to search on foot. Koda was last seen north of Forest Lakes subdivision along the nature trails that connect to Highway 83, an area with heavy tree cover and long trail systems. The footage and flight path we’re sharing show the type of ground being covered and how thermal imaging can help identify movement in these environments. (Please note the thermal video is not Koda but a deer being shown as example) If you live in the area or regularly use those trails, please support the effort by staying alert and sharing this post. If you see Koda, do not approach him, as this may cause him to run or hide further; instead, take a photo or video if possible and immediately call Deidre Anguiano at 502-475-8208 with the exact location and time of the sighting. Please note that he has a harness and a leash attached to him. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

This project was a blast to work on. Chick-fil-A Destin had the wild idea to start delivering their famous chicken sandwiches straight to Crab Island, and we had the opportunity to bring that story to life. Between the logistics, timing, and unpredictable water conditions, it was one of those shoots that tested every bit of skill and planning, and that’s what made it fun.
