I walked through the Overland Park Farmers Market and came across this box. Set out in front of a vendors stall in a darker corner. I looked in from on top and thought of the still life paintings I remember coming from baroque painters.
I think I'm going to print this one!

I called my buddy, Corky Heller, the other day on short notice to see if he would grab a bite of lunch with me while I was in town. He tolerates my last minute calls, and met me down at Radius Brewing Company. We talked about fishing and boats and of coarse photography. I had walked in with my camera bag, not wanting to leave the cameras in the hot car. I asked him how many people he knew still carried a light meter? I was able to take a light reading from the window light, adjust my settings to make up the difference in ISO, and expose for the brighter letters on the water bottle. At the time, it was more of just an exercise while chatting. The more I look at this, the more I like it.
