Urban Great-horn Owlet
A few years ago I got a call from an old friend, The Owls are out! The owls are out! A young bird just fledged the nest and landed in downtown West Bend, Wisconsin. The bird was very use to humans walking by, The busy noise of a street, The sounds of emergency vehicles around on a daily basis. It's quite amazing wildlife can adapt to surburbia. In the alley way, The bird posed for me with A beautiful old brick building as a backdrop. I will probably never experience this again in my life.🦉
