Horse shows provide a great opportunity to show off your horse...in front of lots of people...in all their glory...

Or something like that. From the powerful moments to the moments that make you shake your head, these are the memories that you will hold onto. It isn't always ribbons and trophies. Sometimes it is the fun little things in between.

All photos in the gallery are UNEDITED. Purchased photos will be cropped, straightened, and color corrected.

What a great weekend for a horse show! The heat was sweltering but the horses were hotter. Thank you to everyone who stuck through it!

I am working on sorting through and uploading photos as we speak. Keep watching this page for when the ApHC show gallery is ready!

Yesterday was the ApHC show and today is a very big all breed show courtesy of the Wisconsin Appaloosa Horse Club in Fond du Lac!

Tia + Dakota

I had the pleasure of photographing Tia and her very special palomino mare, Dakota.

If you are not familiar with Tia, she is a multi-carded judge that can also be seen helping out at horse shows, giving lessons, and teaching clinics. She is an amazing woman with a heart of gold when it comes to being there for others and their horses. As one of the kindest people I have ever met, it was my honor to capture these stunning, black background fine art photos of her and her mare. You see, Tia is always there for others, but it was time for her to be in the spotlight to celebrate her bond with Dakota.

We are less than 2 weeks away from the Wisconsin Appaloosa Horse Club Summer Spots ApHC/All Breed Show in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where I will be the Official Photographer for both days of the show!

The showbill is HUGE with plenty of opportunities to show in halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle, ranch, trail, and more!

I can't wait to photograph all of the spotted horses and capture the versatility of this unique breed!
