Hello my beautiful friends 😈 with the rise in popularity of photographers at HHN-- I get asked alot about my best tips for shooting at the event--so I just wanted to make a little post and share some of my insights.

I posted my idea for vibes & best time of day for photos-- so to clarify--general HHN is ANYTHING-- All black, my uniform (hhn shirt and jorts) to bounding and everything in between. There are hundreds of videos out there with outfit ideas, but that is not my expertise, so I kept it simple--VIBES.

TOD-- is just from my experience. I typically have a better handle on OPS, crowds, locations & all that jazz by the end of opening weekend. 😇

I also didnt include alot of locations that are in the park, simply because I didn't have photos of myself there--& this post would have had 100+ photos 🤣🤣

Diagon, Fortnite, Simpsons, Avenue of the Stars, Mel's...there are SO MANY SPOTS, don't fret.

Now the nitty gritty....

1. If you are doing a shoot or taking photos, please remember to be respectful of space. You cannot impede on other guests experience, so my advice is to set bags to the side out of the way of foot traffic, shoot your shot and move on.
2. YOU CANNOT USE FLASH ANYWHERE THERE ARE SCARE ACTORS. POINT BLANK, PERIOD. Don't do it.
3. Some locations are going to be near food booths, lines, or other highly trafficked and busy areas, so you may have to pose or be patient for breaks to get the shot, as mentioned above--never get in other guests space to take photos, it's the one way ticket to getting things shut down, and we don't want to do that.
4. Do not bother scare actors for photos, if they want to interact with you, they will. If they don't, you need to leave them alone. Respect for team members and scareactors is a non- negotiable for me. They make this event happen, and we give them the respect all humans deserve.

Photos during the event are awesome, and one I hope to be offering for many years to come--so, if you plan to take photos at HHN-- just make sure to keep it classy!
