Gothic-whimsical in aesthetic, deeply real in approach. LGBTQ affirming, body positive & neurodivergent friendly. 20 years of wedding experience. I launched my photography business in 2006 and spent the next twenty years building something I am genuinely proud of. What started as Koontz Photography has evolved into DellaMorte Photography, a name that finally reflects who I actually am, both as a photographer and as an artist. My background is rooted in fine art, and that has always informed the way I see and shoot. I specialize in weddings, elopements, couples, and portrait work for people who want images that feel real, warm, and true to who they are. I also subcontract for other photographers and collaborate with artists, musicians, and creatives across Central Florida and beyond. My work has been displayed in the Smithsonian's Water/Ways traveling exhibit and projected onto the walls of the Musée de l'Élysée in Switzerland. I have been published internationally in Illusion Magazine, the Smithsonian Blog, West Volusia Magazine, and others. My photography has appeared on album art, book covers, DVD covers, and promotional materials for musicians including Nova Rex and The Cog Is Dead, and on records such as Come As You Are, a 20th Anniversary Tribute to Nirvana. My reference photography has been licensed by published comic book artists and illustrators. I stay current through continued education, active involvement in the professional photography community, and a genuine obsession with getting better at the thing I love. I serve on the boards of both PPCF and FPP and am currently working toward my Master of Wedding Photography through the PPA and my Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence through the FPP. I am based in DeLand, FL and available throughout Central Florida and beyond.
