She didn’t want to stress about what to wear for her portrait session.

No scrolling through her closet. No ordering five dresses and hoping one worked. No stressing over whether she’d chosen the “right” thing.

So she said, “You choose,” and I was happy to oblige!

We pulled three looks from the client closet, and I directed the entire aesthetic from there. The wardrobe, the mood, the posing. The whole thing.

And honestly?

Most women think they’re stuck in waiting mode.

Waiting to feel more confident.
More put together.
More “ready” to be seen.

But what I see over and over again is something different.

💯 It’s not readiness they’re missing. It’s permission.

🖤Permission to take up space without negotiating it first.
🖤Permission to be seen without fixing something before.
🖤Permission to exist in an image without shrinking themselves inside it.

And the longer you wait for that feeling to arrive on its own, the more it starts to feel like a requirement instead of a choice.

But it was never a requirement.

It was something you were allowed to give yourself the whole time.
