Most women don’t walk into my studio feeling fully confident.

They come in nervous.

And after photographing countless women, I’ve learned something:

It’s rarely about not being photogenic.

More often, it’s about spending years being everything for everyone else…

without leaving much space to simply exist for themselves.

Today can hold a lot of things at once.

Love.
Grief.
Pressure.
Joy.
Exhaustion.
Relief.
Loneliness.
Connection.

Sometimes all at the same table.

And whether today feels heavy, beautiful, complicated, or barely noticeable at all, I just wanted to remind you of something:

👉 You are still a person outside of what you do for everyone else.

Outside of what you carry.
Outside of what you give.
Outside of who needs something from you.

There is still a version of you underneath all of it that deserves attention, softness, creativity, expression, rest, beauty, and care.

Not because you earned it.
Because you exist.

One of the most emotional things I witness in my studio is the moment a woman realizes she’s allowed to take up space again without apologizing for it.

Not as someone’s mother.
Not as someone’s partner.
Not as the dependable one.
Not as the strong one.
Just as herself.

And I think more women need spaces that allow that.

Wherever today finds you, I hope you’re gentle with yourself in it.
