As we get ready to embrace the 2025 wedding season, we’re taking a moment to look back at one of the most meaningful weddings we captured last year — held at the breathtaking Villa Pliniana, on the shores of Lake Como.
This place holds a very special place in our hearts. In 2016, we photographed our very first wedding in Italy here at Lake Como — an experience that completely changed our lives. Just a few months later, we packed our bags and moved to Italy, where we lived for several years and built unforgettable memories with couples from all over the world.
Villa Pliniana, built in 1573, is one of the most historic venues in Lake Como. This Renaissance villa has welcomed iconic guests over the centuries, including Napoleon Bonaparte and Lord Byron. Its architecture, charm, and magical lakefront views create a dream setting for luxury weddings.
People often ask us which places we love most for destination weddings — and Lake Como is definitely at the top of that list.
We’re excited for what 2025 holds and can’t wait to tell new stories in places as meaningful and stunning as this.
