I got to experience a rare crossover in my life. I not only witnessed my son being baptized after proclaiming his faith in Christ, but as the church Photographer, I got to be right in the front to capture it all. The word “proud” doesn’t measure up to the feeling I had witnessing this outward expression of faith. Proud mama bear moment.

This is why you might catch me walking in circles with my hand out.

This is especially important on a cloudy day where you really can’t tell where the sun is in the sky. Before I put my clients in the best spot without having shadows on their face, I will have my palm out and turn in a circle until I see my hand is fully lit up with no shadows. Then I know where to have my clients face!

Everyone loved the new reel- Maxine, the jealous doggy who’s a new big sister, but here are the sweet moments captured during that special time together. (She wasn’t a grump, I promise!) We focused on the adorable baby Cameron as he slept most of his Photoshoot. 🫶🏼

There’s something so peaceful about indoor newborn Photoshoot sessions because we stay still, sometimes there’s lullaby music on in the background, and it’s just so cozy! I’m not even going to lie, leaving this particular shoot I felt like I just left a massage. I was so relaxed! It could be this amazing family and just that good energy I felt while being there. 🤍

Dads and their first baby. Holding his baby for the first time, something shifts. The protector, the provider, the guy who thought he had to be tough all the time… completely disarmed by 8 pounds of tiny human. It’s like this little baby strips away every wall he ever built and suddenly opens the door to emotions he never even knew he had. Funny how the smallest person in the room can make the strongest man the softest. 🤍
