I will be the first to admit: I have fallen victim to the busyness of Maycember and have been completely derelict in my instagram posting duties. But I have been quietly shooting and editing and editing and shooting…. And now that May has come and gone and summer is nearly upon us, it seems as good of a time as any to catch up and share the cuteness.
I think you’ll agree that this handsome little man is an adorable place to kick off my return to the gram 🤣😍💙

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted…. I’ve fallen victim to the craziness of Maycember and all of its unreasonable but fun demands. Needless to say, I am so excited for summer and slower days. Anyone else feeling this??

Also how cute is this crew? I photographed this little man for his newborn session and it’s been so so fun to watch him grow! That little smile is just the best. 💙

Has anyone else read Theo of Golden?? I feel like I need to do a public service announcement for this book. So beautiful and redeeming and quirky and full of goodness. I balled at the ending and enjoyed all the little morsels in between. Just so heartwarming and wonderful. If you haven’t read it, do yourself a favor and go get a copy asap. I promise, this is not a sponsored post 🤣

It’s Monday. My brain isn’t fully firing yet so my creative captions are lacking. Still recovering from the warp speed at which we traveled through the weekend Why do the weekends go by so dang fast? The checker at Trader Joe’s told me that if our weekdays would go by as quickly as our weekends then we’d really be winning at life 🤣 I’m not sure I want life to go by any faster, that’s for sure, but I’d be all for a 3 day weekend once a month. Sign me up for that plan. I’ll put it on my platform when I run for Congress 🤣 Happy Monday friends!

A little Mother’s Day wildflower goodness for your Friday the 13th scrolling. This fam is very near and dear to my heart and shooting with them always reminds me of how lucky I am to have people like them as clients and friends. I’m not sure if I should be concerned or weirdly proud but yesterday Bruce dropped a “No diggity” reference in casual conversation. Our dog, Mac, was wagging his tail like a lunatic and Bruce said: “Mac is an original rump shaker like Blackstreet and Teddy.” 🤣😳🙈 I mean accurate? Yes. Hilarious? Also yes. Appropriate? Probably not but I still got a good laugh out of it. And now our dog also has a new nickname 🤣

On a more photography related note, I’m just loving all the cuteness from Simply Kids! This mama wanted to redo her wall with some updated portraits… scroll to see headshots of all three of her kiddos, their rump shaker included 🤣 I was cracking up over how perfectly he posed! Can’t wait to share more of these sessions! 🥰❤️
