Thank you so much for visiting my page! I am Erin Muller, a California girl with a passion for people and photography. With every wedding that I shoot, I aim to capture the story of your big day. The big moments and the small. And it all starts with getting to know you over a cup of coffee! I LOVE what I do and I hope to share it with you soon! So drop me a line, say hello! ... I dare you. :D

Step into my office.
It has ocean views and golden light.

Open concept floor plan.
Indoor/outdoor living.
Natural lighting throughout.

Current amenities include:
salt air,
sand in my shoes,
and aggressively checking the sunset time before every session.

Honestly, Orange County understood the assignment.

Somewhere a wedding photographer just opened the weather app, checked sunset time, and started dissociating.

If you know, you know.

This is also why we care so much about timelines, by the way. It’s not because we’re trying to control your day. It’s because we know exactly how fast good light disappears… especially in the fall.

Sharks are still scary though. 😂

I always say Type A people make the best wedding photographers.

Unfortunately for everyone involved… I am extremely Type A.

The photos feel calm and effortless…
but behind the scenes, my brain is running a full event production at all times.

I’ve already mentally walked through the timeline before I even arrive.

I notice everything.
The light changing.
The schedule slipping.
The moments about to happen before they actually do.

So while it might look like I’m just casually documenting the day…
I’m actually anticipating, adjusting, fixing little things in real time, and quietly keeping everything moving.

Part control freak.
Part overthinker.
Part “if I don’t do it, who will?” energy.

But honestly?
That’s usually the reason my couples get to feel relaxed and fully present.

Because someone else is paying attention for them.

Nothing like an ice cold wedding cigarette between family formals and open dance floor. 🥤 IYKYK.

Just delivered Connor and Sloane's wedding gallery yesterday, which means they’re currently deep in the “reliving every magical moment while wearing sweatpants on the couch” phase of newlywed life—and honestly, that might be the best phase of all.

Their wedding day at the ranch in Laguna Beach came with a little unexpected plot twist: unforecasted May gray with a side of drizzle. Just as we were about to head outside for photos, the skies decided to be dramatic. (Naturally.) But in true main character energy, the rain knew its place and cleared up just in time for their ceremony. And then, like it was working off the timeline, it waited until everyone had moved inside for dancing before the real downpour began. Divine coordination, if you ask me.

Lucky Day Events lived up to their name, pulling off a day that felt seamless—even with the weather throwing in a little suspense—and Not Just in Novels came through with florals that brought all the color and charm we needed to cut through the gloom. Lush pink peonies? Always a yes.

It was a day full of beauty, joy, and just enough chaos to make it unforgettable—and I’m so happy Connor and Sloane get to relive it all, one photo at a time.

Turns out when you put a bunch of wedding vendors in a room with perfect light, coastal florals, and spritzes... we thrive.

I’ve made it my mission to figure out how to bottle up a feeling through photos — the lightness, the energy, the way a space actually felt.

This luncheon for CURATE California? It was exactly that. The assignment: capture the essence of a coastal-chic industry event. The result: somewhere between editorial and a sun-soaked fever dream (in the best way). 🐚🌞

We may not have been working a wedding day, but it still felt like a love story — just one between insanely talented creatives, a killer design vision, and the perfect amount of afternoon light.

Swipe through to feel it. 🐚✨

Picture this: the warm glow of the setting sun, the scent of citrus and fresh blooms in the air, and the kind of magic that happens when a dream team of creatives comes together to bring a vision to life.

Last week, I had joy of attending a content retreat in the heart of the desert with , and let me tell you—it was a vibe. The theme? **Verona Sunset.** Think Italian romance meets retro-glam, dripping in shades of burnt orange, marigold, and soft terracotta. Every detail, from the floral arrangements bursting with oranges and marigolds to the vintage getaway car that looked straight out of a movie, felt like stepping into a sun-soaked, champagne-filled daydream.

But beyond the aesthetics (which were *chef’s kiss* perfection), this retreat was about something deeper—connection. There’s something special about being surrounded by passionate creatives who just *get it.* The “oh my gosh, look at this shot!” moments and the kind of support that reminds you why you fell in love with photography in the first place.

To every insanely talented vendor who poured their heart into this, *bravo.* 👏 And to the couples who trust us to document their own golden-hour love stories—you’re the reason we do what we do.

Now, tell me—if you were planning your dream wedding, would you go bold with color like this or keep it classic? Drop your thoughts below!
