Holiday minis have officially re-entered the chat!

After some pretty major life changes for our little family this year, I’m taking on significantly less work this season and keeping my calendar much lighter than usual. But I couldn’t let fall go by without seeing at least a few of my favorite families. 🤍

I quietly released a very limited number of holiday mini sessions to my email list, and you guys have already filled most of them. There are still a handful of spots left if you’ve been hoping to get on my calendar this year!

Current amenities include:

and aggressively checking the sunset time before every session.

Honestly, Orange County understood the assignment.

Somewhere a wedding photographer just opened the weather app, checked sunset time, and started dissociating.

If you know, you know.

This is also why we care so much about timelines, by the way. It’s not because we’re trying to control your day. It’s because we know exactly how fast good light disappears… especially in the fall.

Sharks are still scary though. 😂

I always say Type A people make the best wedding photographers.

Unfortunately for everyone involved… I am extremely Type A.

The photos feel calm and effortless…
but behind the scenes, my brain is running a full event production at all times.

I’ve already mentally walked through the timeline before I even arrive.

I notice everything.
The light changing.
The schedule slipping.
The moments about to happen before they actually do.

So while it might look like I’m just casually documenting the day…
I’m actually anticipating, adjusting, fixing little things in real time, and quietly keeping everything moving.

Part control freak.
Part overthinker.
Part “if I don’t do it, who will?” energy.

But honestly?
That’s usually the reason my couples get to feel relaxed and fully present.

Because someone else is paying attention for them.
