Katie & Sam
This day felt a little extra special to be a part of since I’ve known Sam since we were kids! To not only get to watch him marry the love of his life, but document their sweet relationship was a privilege 🤍

I wanted to highlight Katie and Sam’s first look and private vows. It was one of my favorite parts of the day- I loved watching their emotions as they centered on the foundations of their relationship before stepping into their wedding ceremony. The peaceful setting next to the water with the breeze coming through the trees made everything feel just perfect.

The two chose a more modern color palette with touches of vintage. I loved Katie’s dress with its lace overlay and low back. It was complimented so beautifully by the greens and plums of the decor and florals.

From sweet vows to moves on the dance floor, this day was so beautiful and fun from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier for these two or more honored to have witnessed the start of this next journey. Congrats again you two 🤍

365 days with Alice 🤍

Cannot believe our sweet girl is one today! I never knew love could feel this big, and being a mom has been the greatest honor. I could literally write paragraphs about this girl and all the things I love about her, but I will save everyone the novel. Thank you my sweet girl for giving me the honor of being your mom a year ago. You are one of the greatest gifts God has given me, and the last year has been so so amazing (and so so fast). Our little family is my greatest joy, and I’m so thankful. Love you Alice 🤍

Marilyn & Jared 🦢

This past weekend was a vintage dream and I had the best day documenting all the beauty it held. Marilyn and Jared had the most intentional day, no detail was without meaning. Family heirlooms were scattered throughout their day, from handkerchiefs made from mom’s wedding dress, to 100+ year old seating charts. The couple truly put heart and thought behind each wedding choice.

Marilyn’s wardrobe was one of my favorite elements of the day. Her dress was simple and classy, but she added on a lace bolero and vintage veil which added the perfect Victorian touch. After the ceremony the sleeves were removed and replaced with a stunning pearl statement necklace that felt perfect for their fun evening of dancing.

The day was not short of emotion. Just about everyone teared up seeing Marilyn in her gown and veil for the first time, and the vows were the perfect fit and recap for their relationship. One of my favorite moments of the day was during Marilyn’s first look with her grandpa Kenny. He was very emotional but pulled back from a hug to grab his flip phone to snag a photo of his granddaughter. 🤍

There’s so much more I could say and showcase about this day, but know I simply took way too many photos and smiled so very much. You two know how to throw a party and I feel so honored to have witnessed it!

Katie & Frank 🐚

Forever playing catch up but this lovely little beach session needed a place on my feed! It was actually pretty chilly this day, but the cold sand didn’t stop us from creating some magic! I love these soft feely photos and how they showcase the love these two have for each other. They’re so easy going and fun, their relationship feels natural. It was a joy to run around by the waves with them and I can’t wait for their wedding day!

Guys there are 2 massive recommendations I can give you if you want to prioritize some amazing couples photos on your wedding day.
1. Make room for it in your timeline. Tobi and Tyler had an upwards of 90 minutes set aside just for couples photos. It gave us so much time to get creative with our space and settle into a flow. We weren’t rushed in any way, and it gave us so much room to work together.
2. Be down for anything, and commit to the pose or prompt fully. Tobi early on said one of my favorite phrases “we’re down to try anything! If you’ve got any poses you want to try, we’re in!” Whether is was running around in the summer heat, or sitting on the forest floor, these two didn’t bat an eye. Giving permission for experimental posing and concepts, and then committing to them with full confidence yields some of the best results!

I love this wedding and I love these photos. I really felt like we just had so much time to create together and it feels like we were really able to capture something so unique to them. I love all the variety we got as well: the class of the Court Above Main, the whimsy of woods, and the fun of half eaten cake and Air Force Ones. Congrats again to these two, I’m so happy I was able to be a part of your stunner of a wedding day!

with Jackie! I did Jackie’s photos last fall and it’s about time they found their way to my feed! It’s been so fun working with seniors again this summer and it had me reminiscing about this lovely shoot! I love how effortless these photos feel, Jackie was an absolute natural in front of the camera. I love her soft smile and beautiful demeanor!

Tyler & Trinity
I’ve been so excited to post these since I took them and here I am finally getting around to it! Trinity talked to me about wanting a vintage feel for her session and I couldn’t wait to run with the idea! We decided on Norskedalen for a location and it was truly the perfect setting for these elegant and feely photos.

Trinity and Tyler picked the perfect outfits and I immediately felt inspired by their wardrobe! I loved getting creative with this one and I feel like it has all the pride and prejudice vibes! Can’t wait to photograph their lovely wedding!

Kaitlyn & Aaron 🌸

Kaitlyn and Aaron had a stunning, vintage, summer wedding filled with intention and fun!

Kaitlyn and Aaron’s morning started slow, getting ready with friends and family, the excitement in the air was evident!

The couple had a wonderful, faith centered ceremony. Aaron loved Kaitlyn’s “vintage tablecloth” (her words!) dress, and the two ended their ceremony with their own petitions that they felt reflected their heart.

The couple held their reception at this stunning barn which belongs to Aaron’s family members! It was the perfect setting for Kaitlyn’s vision. Kaitlyn created most of the decor by hand, including ‘stained glass’ table numbers and signage, custom hats for the entire wedding party, and hand written notes for every. Single. Guest. These two are such kind and sweet souls, it was such a touching element that everyone loved.

After some heartfelt speeches, many jello shots, and a beautiful sunset, it was time to dance. One of my favorite elements of the evening was that Kaitlyn’s cousins coordinated a surprise routine that had everyone laughing and hyped!

I absolutely adore these two and I’m so happy to have been a part of their absolutely beautiful wedding day! Congrats again, here’s to endless years of happiness together!

Kayla & Seth 🏔️

Last month I got the privilege to travel to Washington to document Kayla and Seth’s beautiful wedding day. The couple has a goal to visit every national park together, so it was fitting to check one off the list for their wedding day!

The whole wedding party, both families, and most of the guests all stayed right on site at the stunning Casa Grande. The couple was married on the back patio overlooking the mountains of Sedro Wooley. The day was faith filled with God being right at the center. The couple had touching moments of prayer by their wedding parties and families prior to the ceremony and covering their marriage vows.

After saying I do and tying the knot, Kayla, Seth, and I drove out to the North Cascades to take some beautiful photos in the mountains! A closed road to our intended destination proved to be a coolest opportunity as we were able to have the space all to ourselves and get some amazing shots!

We headed back to the venue for some dinner, speeches, an ABBA routine, and dancing. It was such a beautiful day and I couldn’t be happier for these two. What a beautiful day to not only witness, but to capture!

Josie & Travis 🍟
There are a lot of beautiful moments from this wedding day but I felt like this set needed its own spotlight moment. Josie and Travis chose to spend their time between their ceremony and reception at the Bodega enjoying apps and hanging with their wedding party.
We ended up doing the majority of their couples photos there and I just love this unique and fun feel we created! It felt casual and laid back, without losing the love and sweetness the two so clearly share together. Don’t be afraid to have fun on your wedding day- fries are usually a good starting place ❤️
