Megan & Hunter 🪶
First wedding of the season yesterday so I definitely need to get caught up on my posting! Finally showcasing Megan & Hunters beautiful winter wedding! The day unfortunately had a high temperature of 1 degree, so that meant we got to get creative indoors for our photos! Megan had lots of classy details and elements to her day, so it was extra fun playing around some “old money” vibes.

The two chose to have a private first touch and vows which were very emotional and sweet. It was a great way to kick off the day, and led to an emotional first look down the aisle. Their sweet dog Randy was of course the star of the show and got to hang out all day!

We were able to get outside VERY briefly for a little golden hour before heading into an evening of champagne, toasts, and cookies!

Their day ended with some high energy live music and lots of dancing! We took some time to sneak away for some direct flash photos that were the perfect end to the day! Despite the frigid temperatures, these two made the most of their wedding and I’m so happy to have been a part of it! Though I’m very happy it’s finally getting warm out 😅

Jada & Evan ❤️

Oh my gosh it’s been so long since I posted anything! I’ll be playing catch up all year long I just know it! Finally posting my last wedding of the 2025 season! Jada and Evan had the sweetest lil Tuesday wedding just before New Years Eve!

The couple booked the absolutely stunning for their celebration and chose to do a private first look. We got to spend the first hour of their day as just the three of us with all of Capella to explore and get creative with. These two have such an amazing relationship and it was so clear how important marriage was to them! Seeing them repeatedly tear up in one another’s arms was an amazing reminder that wedding days truly are the beginning of such a sacred journey!
The two of them chose to have Christ at the center of their day, and it was so sweet to worship alongside their friends and family and watch them say their vows to one another. The softest snow even began to fall during their ceremony and thankfully we caught a bit on camera before heading back to their reception.
Jada and Evan claim not to be big dancers but instead embraced their family’s love for cards and board games. The evening unfolded with delicious family style catering, speeches from family, and a first cribbage game as Mr. & Mrs! What a special way to end 2025, I couldn’t be happier for these two!

Thank you 2025 for the little joy of my life. For the privilege of carrying her for the majority of the year, documenting memories and working out through it all, and bringing her earth side. Thank you God for this past year, for all the ups and downs, challenges and excitement. My life is forever changed, and being a mom is the greatest calling. I love you Alice and I can’t wait to watch you grow and get to know you more and more in 2026 🤍

Rachel & Bryan 🍁
The sweetest fall day for Rachel + Bryan 🍁✨
From the moment I walked into the getting ready house, the energy was already high- laughing, music, and that fun wedding day chaos we all secretly love. And then the colors… peak fall in Wisconsin showed off in the best way. The temperature was chef’s kiss perfect.

Their ceremony outside Bittersweet Greenhouse was everything. Bryan seeing Rachel for the first time down the aisle was one my favorite moments of the day, his reaction was the kind that reminds you why this job is the best in the world.

Afterward, the excitement was electric. Guests were cheering, the couple couldn’t stop smiling, and the whole evening just rolled with joy. Heartfelt speeches that had everyone tearing up, a private cake cutting that was equal parts sweet and fun, and then a dance floor that turned into a full-on party.

So dang happy for these two. What a day. 🧡📸

Now that fall is coming to a close… can we please go back to summer? ☀️
Reminiscing on this Monday evening about the wonderful session I had with Katie and Sam a couple weeks ago. I have actually known Sam since we were young kids, and I even took his senior pictures a couple of years ago! I was so excited when he and Katie reached out to me about taking their engagement photos and shooting their wedding next summer. Their engagement photos were the most beautiful sunny, summer evening, and we had so much fun, laughing, dancing, and creating these lovely images! I love when I work with a couple and you can literally see the heart eyes that they have for one another. These two are clearly head over heels for each other and are so well matched. So in love with these images, and can’t wait to document the start of their marriage next year!

Alison & Riley
Throwing it back to the first shoot, I did after returning from maternity leave! I am missing these warm summer evenings when the sunset so late, as well as running around the fields with Alison and Riley! It was so fun working with these two, and I remember the session feeling like a breath of fresh air after so many weeks off! So hyped to work with the two of them again at their wedding next summer, and still just loving this warm sunny vibe as I sit here at 6 PM in the dark 🫠

Ellyn & Jack
Ellyn & Jacks’s Halloween wedding at Woods & Co. in Pepin, WI was an absolute dream, truly my dream venue and the perfect match for my style. I’ve known these two for several years through networking and as fellow small business owners, and it was such an honor to document their day! Ellyn was actually my doula for delivering my sweet daughter just a couple months ago, so being behind the camera for her wedding felt extra special. 🥹

They had the most perfectly moody Halloween day: overcast skies, thoughtful details, and that cozy fall energy I love so much. Ellyn’s custom-made bodysuit with vintage lace, a flowy skirt, and her Red Wing combat boots were the perfect reflection of her: unique, grounded, and effortlessly cool. Jack’s reaction during their first look and their emotional vows had everyone (including me) in tears. 🖤

Their sweet pup Lucy absolutely stole the show, and even a little rain couldn’t stop their beautiful outdoor ceremony, fitting for two people who love the outdoors. Later in the evening, Ellyn and Jack led a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of loved ones who couldn’t be there, followed by gluten-free desserts, bubble guns, heartfelt speeches, and endless laughter.

And the grand finale? Ellyn swapped her skirt for pants- one of the perks of a bodysuit wedding dress 👏 It was the best way to wrap up such a fun, heartfelt, and uniquely them celebration. So grateful to call these two friends and to have spent one of my favorite holidays capturing their love story. 🕯🎃

Marques & Meghan
Meghan and Marques’s wedding day in Superior, Wisconsin was nothing short of breathtaking 🤍 Though this day was photographed by my amazing associates, getting to experience it through the photos made me feel like I was right there. You can feel the emotion and love in every image.

The fall colors were absolutely glowing, and the view from the top of the ski lodge resort was unreal. Even with the cool temps and wind, these two braved it all and had the most beautiful day. Meghan and Marques shared a private first touch and vows before seeing each other down the aisle, and let me tell you, Marcus’s emotional reaction had me in tears just looking through the gallery. 🥹

The evening wrapped up with heartfelt speeches, sweet dances, and a golden hour that painted everything in the softest light. They even snuck out for photos in front of the lodge as it lit up for the night which was absolute magic. ✨

So beyond happy for you two, Meghan and Marques! What an incredible day to relive. 🍁

Still catching up on posting this summer’s Senior! Little peek at Gabbi’s photos from July! I got to photograph Gabbi’s older sister a few years back l, so it was extra sweet taking her photos! We ended up at Norskedalen in C**n Valley. It was the perfect session to fulfill Gabbi’s outdoorsy vision! From fields to sunshine, this is one of my favorite spots in the area! I love how these photos turned out and I’m definitely missing those late summer evenings right now!

J A S M I N E & M A S O N

Jasmine and Mason’s wedding day was one for the books 🤍 The two were married at The Duct Tape- a one-of-a-kind hunting lodge tucked away in C**n Valley. I actually photographed the only other wedding ever held here several years ago for Mason’s aunt and uncle, so it was so special to return and see how the space has grown over the years. Mason’s dad and uncle have been slowly building and adding onto this place for years, every wall tells a story, and every detail feels a little mismatched in the best way (hence the name 😉).

This property also holds an extra layer of meaning: it’s where Mason proposed to Jasmine! Getting married here felt like the most perfect full circle moment. Their day was filled with summer charm: soft pinks, pastel florals, and sweet vintage details, including touches of lace that made everything feel timeless.

One of my favorite parts of the day was their ceremony site, a breathtaking setup built by Mason and his dad down in the woods. A winding pallet aisle lined with candles led to a canopy of string lights above. It felt completely magical as Jasmine walked toward him. After a Christ centered message, they were officially married and rode off to the reception on their “just married” tractor (yes, really 🚜)!

As the night went on, we snuck back down to the ceremony site for photos under the lights, a vision Jasmine had described to me in our very first consultation, and it was even more stunning than I imagined. Moody, golden, and full of love.

The evening ended with heartfelt speeches, a generational cake cutting, and a packed dance floor. I couldn’t be happier for these two and the beautiful start of their next chapter 💛
