An old friend recently inquired about how my business was doing. They mentioned they hadn’t seen any photos posted on Facebook in a long time, assuming I must not be very busy. Well, it’s actually quite the contrary! The last couple years have been so busy with steady (and sometimes overwhelming) bookings, that sharing my work with the social media world has been far from the forefront of my mind. Accommodating my clients’ photo shoot needs and deadlines always takes priority to publicizing my business. However, it seemed necessary to stop by today and share some recent work with you, just so you know I’m still alive and well. 😉

A highlight of last month was the honor of photographing a beautiful historic home I have long admired from a distance. La Crosse’s famed King St. has been graced by the Henry Salzer home for over a century. Though this residence still boasts its original prairie school architecture, it has undergone an incredible transformation to the modern head turner you will see in the photos.

Earlier this week I was photographing in Clear Lake, IA. After taking a break to enjoy ice cream at Birdsall's, I stumbled upon metal furniture in the nearby park. When you're a real estate photographer, that means you MUST take a photo with it! 😁 (Frank Lloyd Wright's last remaining designed and built hotel in the world also graced a nearby corner!)
