Allison + Evan’s Boston Harbor Hotel wedding officially marked the halfway point of my wedding season and… HOW?! How are we already here?

It’s honestly insane to me how quickly a season can move. One minute it feels like it’s just beginning, and suddenly I’m halfway through it. It’s such a reminder that there really is no way to pause time. No way to slow it down or ask it to wait just a little longer.

BUT… there is a way to capture it. 🤍

And I feel so incredibly lucky that this is what I get to do. That my clients trust me to preserve the people, the feelings, the tiny in-between moments and the days they wish they could freeze forever.

Time moves way too fast. But photographs let us keep a little piece of it.

A little about me — outside of what I do for a living. 🤍

I’m Molly. I’ve been married to Eric for 14 years. I'm wildly obsessed with our two Vizslas, and increasingly convinced that the older I get, the more I understand what actually matters to me.

I’m happiest near the ocean or in the mountains. Block Island has my heart, Maine feels like home, and I will pretty much always say yes to a trip. I love summer days by the water just as much as I love winter mornings on skis — and I genuinely don’t know which version of myself is happier.

I’m deeply sentimental. I love traditions, old photographs, places that hold memories, and the people who have known me through different versions of myself.

I’m also a recovering perfectionist. I can be way too hard on myself, I overthink things that probably don’t deserve a second thought, and I’m learning that a good life and a perfect life are two very different things.

I love beautiful hotels and dive bars. Getting dressed up and wearing sweatpants. Traveling somewhere I’ve never been and returning to the same places year after year. I’m equally happy with a packed weekend surrounded by people I love or at home doing absolutely nothing.

I’m sensitive, loyal, a little Type A, very nostalgic, and always working on being more present instead of worrying about what’s next.

Life feels faster to me these days. Maybe that’s getting older, or maybe it’s just finally paying attention.

Could you two be any more perfect? I think not. These summer nights strolling around Boston seem fleeting and I am loving soaking it all in.

This little getaway was probably the best few days of the summer. 🤍

We almost didn’t take our annual trip to Block this year. We’ve had such a busy summer, and with Greece coming up, we figured maybe we’d skip it.

Then Mollie texted asking if I’d be willing to head over to the island for a family session, and I knew it was a sign. And when she mentioned that her brother Eric was proposing to his boyfriend, Eddy… SOLD. 😂

So off to Block we went — and I’m so, so glad we did.

Life is busy. Life is short. Take the trips. Make the memories. Say yes when you can.

The work will always get done. 🤍
