Felipe asked me this morning why I go out to take photos of strangers.

The frustration? He wasn't coming with me.

Hard to explain to a 3 year old. But I tried.

They're not really strangers by the end of the day. You spend an hour with someone, learn what they're proud of, figure out how they want to be seen.

That's not nothing.

His reply: "Oh, so you make friends and then take their picture?"

"Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is."

What do people find about you online before they meet you?. It should look like who you are right now, not who you were five years ago.

If the rest of your brand has evolved and your photo hasn't, that's the gap worth closing.

Allyship isn't about having all the answers, it's just being there, listening, supporting, and helping create spaces where people feel seen and valued -Kudos Norwalk!!

The flag raising is a symbol, but the real impact comes from the everyday actions that make our communities more welcoming and inclusive.

My kids didn't get the memo on coordinating outfits.

One wanted the full robe. One had the lightsaber but lost the hood. The other one was just doing their own thing entirely.

So I photographed them separately and stitched it all together.

Same thing I do with corporate teams. Not everyone's available and in the same galaxy. Not everyone's comfortable the same way. Not everyone wore what you asked them to wear.

Doesn't matter.

Each person gets a moment that's actually theirs. Real expression, "all of them".Then we bring it all together as if they were in sync.

May the fourth be with you.
