Follow the Signal ⚓️

This Spring, I had the honor of photographing Kennebunk’s newest coastal dining experience located in Lower Village.

Signal is the newest venture by Via Maine Hospitality, bringing a fresh take on coastal dining that's deeply rooted in Maine's maritime heritage while drawing inspiration from ports and shorelines around the world. From beautifully prepared local seafood and handcrafted cocktails to thoughtfully designed interiors, every detail reflects a space that's both elevated and welcoming.

As a Kennebunk local, this project was especially meaningful. There's something special about documenting a place that will become part of the community you call home. 🤍 It was a pleasure capturing a restaurant built around exceptional hospitality, fresh Maine ingredients, and moments meant to be shared.

One of the most beautiful hotels in New England sits quietly in Southwest Harbor, Maine ⚓️

The Claremont is the type of place that leaves you in awe. Between the ocean and mountain views, the iconic wraparound porch overlooking the water toward Acadia, and interiors that are colorful, eclectic, and full of character, it feels effortlessly charming in every direction.

I loved photographing this property because every space felt intentional, from the historic architecture to the design and details woven throughout.

Thoughtful touches like the Botanica Spa, complimentary morning coffee, daily yoga on the croquet lawn, bicycles for exploring, and the heated waterfront pool make it easy to settle in. And if you're lucky, your room might even come with its own front porch for slow mornings by the sea. ☕️

Tucked away from the Bar Harbor buzz, this charming escape is one I'll be thinking about for a long time. If you're visiting Mount Desert Island, The Claremont is absolutely worth experiencing. 🤍

Finally getting around to sharing this extra special grad session from the spring!!!

Carrie graduated from the University of New England this May, and getting to take these photos was such a full-circle moment.

I've known Carrie for years, and back in 2018 I took her high school senior photos. It honestly feels so crazy that we got to do it all over again for her college graduation. Being able to photograph these big milestones and watch people grow over the years is something I'll never take for granted 🤍

Congratulations again, Carrie! I'm so grateful I got to be a small part of your journey ✨🎓

𝐀 𝐨𝐧𝐞-𝐨𝐟-𝐚-𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲— The Longfellow Hotel, located in the West End, is the perfect place to settle in for a weekend in Portland, Maine 🗝️

Featured here is the Evangeline Suite. Complete with an in-room kitchenette + living space, it feels less like a hotel room and more like a perfectly styled apartment you wish was yours. 🛋️ ✨ The space is functional and beautifully finished with collected pieces and warm details that make it feel both elevated 𝘢𝘯𝘥 lived-in.

Beyond the stunning suites, you can enjoy on-site amenities like the Astraea Wellness Spa, complimentary car service, quick stops at Twinflower Cafe, and dinner and a nightcap at Five of Clubs🍸

Photographing this space felt especially meaningful because The Longfellow has become somewhere I genuinely enjoy spending time—whether I’m stopping in to work for a bit or ending the night with a drink at the bar. That familiarity made documenting the property feel more personal— capturing not just how the space looks, but the atmosphere that keeps drawing people back to it. 🤍

Last month I had the chance to photograph the sweetest bridal shower, and it was such a joy from start to finish. From the light-filled space to all the thoughtful details (including the cutest bloody mary and mimosa bar 🥂), everything came together so beautifully to celebrate the bride-to-be.

There were so many genuine moments throughout the day—lots of laughter and the kind of excitement that makes these celebrations so special. It’s always an honor to capture these moments surrounded by the people who love you most.
