There’s something incredibly beautiful about a mother’s love. 🤍

This session was all about celebrating this amazing mama and the three sweet girls who adore her. Through every hug, giggle, and snuggle, you could feel the bond they share. These moments weren’t about perfection they were about connection, love, and preserving this season of life exactly as it is.

Watching these girls wrap themselves around their mom and seeing the joy on all of their faces was such a privilege to capture. These are the memories that matter most.

Getting to capture the exact moment someone says yes, and then watching all that excitement turn into the sweetest little moments afterward 🥹

These two were absolutely stunning together and made my job way too easy. Between the excitement, the way they looked at each other, and how effortless everything felt… it honestly felt like a scene straight out of a movie.

This was my second year having the honor of capturing the ICU Survivors Event, and somehow it was even more emotional than the first. 🤍

This event celebrates patients who not only survived their ICU stay, but have gone on to truly thrive and getting to witness those stories is something I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted.

As a respiratory therapist, I work alongside an incredible ICU team every shift. We come in every day to do our jobs, care for our patients, and push through some really hard moments. But events like this are such an important reminder that these patients are so much more than a diagnosis, a room number, or a difficult shift. These are real people, real families, living through some of the hardest days of their lives.

When the survivors stood up and spoke, there truly wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Hearing firsthand what they endured, what they overcame, and seeing them standing there thriving it’s hard to put into words what that does to your heart.

Moments like this humanize healthcare in a way that’s hard to explain. They remind us why we do what we do.

So grateful to have not only witnessed this event again, but to capture these moments and work alongside such an incredible team every day. 🤍 UPMC Retort Reflections Photography

Some weddings just hit different… this one was everything. 🤍

Standing beside my sister as her Maid of Honor was already something I’ll treasure forever… but getting to also be the one behind the camera? That’s something I don’t even have words for.

I got to witness every quiet, in-between moment the deep breaths before she walked down the aisle, the way they looked at each other when no one else was watching, the laughter, the happy tears… all of it. Not just as a photographer, but as her person.

There’s something so powerful about seeing a wedding from both sides feeling it fully, and then preserving it forever.

And a beach wedding?! There is just nothing like it. The wind catching her veil, the waves crashing behind them, the golden light wrapping everything in the softest glow… it felt like a dream from start to finish. 🌊

This day reminded me exactly why I love what I do so much. These aren’t just photos they’re memories, legacy, moments you get to relive over and over again.

If you’re planning a wedding whether it’s here at home or somewhere far away I would be so honored to be part of it.

April in Erie has been serving us nothing but rain lately ☔️💛
But honestly… I don’t mind it one bit when it looks like this.

Puddle jumping, muddy boots, chasing dogs, checking on the chickens… just the simple kind of magic that makes childhood so sweet.

We took these a little while ago, but they were way too fun not to share 🥹

Let them get messy. Let them laugh loud. Let them be little.
