In the midst of planning the maternity shoot, we quickly switched to a Fresh 48 as Jocelyn May couldn’t wait to meet her mama and dad so she greeted the world yesterday early morning! She’s the sweetest peach, a great snuggler, and dislikes cold hands.

Hi everyone! 💛

I wanted to share a quick update — I’ll be shutting down my Pixieset page for now (this is the place your galleries are delivered) I’m not currently doing photography, keeping the site active has become an unnecessary cost. This isn’t forever, but it does help me cut expenses in the meantime.

Please make sure to download any photos you’d like to keep before December 31st, which will be the final day the galleries are available. If you need your gallery link or password again, just let me know and I’ll happily send it your way.

Thank you all for trusting me with your memories. It truly meant a lot to me. 🤍

Hi there!

After almost a year away from photography, it feels so special to return with something this meaningful. Grateful I got to capture such a beautiful season for my brother and his love as they get ready to welcome new life. Couldn’t ask for a sweeter way to be back behind the camera.

Hey, there! I have an announcement.

After much deliberation, decision making, and going back and forth, it is now decided that Moonstone Photography will no longer be offering weddings as a service.

I was incredibly fortunate to photograph the most weddings I’ve ever done in my time last season and I am lucky to have met some pretty amazing couples. However, in the middle of working full time and also filling my weekends with weddings, I missed so much family time.

To be totally transparent, I was riddled with guilt (even though my little guy was well taken care of), not putting forth my best work, and feeling resentful at times. Something I loved became work. In addition to the 40 hours a week I was already working and being a mom. It then became hours at my computer. It became frustration. Competition that I didn’t want to compete in. It’s a lot.

Anyway, this has gotten way more vulnerable than I ever wanted to be. But if you’ve booked a wedding with me, just know from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for you and I always will be.

I will still be offering portraits once the season kicks back up, just at a limited rate.

In the mean time, I’d love to recommend some kick butt photographers in the area! Just shoot me a message if you’re looking.

After a long, patient wait, the Pickeral wedding is finally on the gallery.

Caitie and Justin were married on 11/2/24 on a bright, sunny day in downtown Odessa, DE. It was a pitch perfect day accompanied by the most beautiful surprises including Caitie singing Justin a rendition of her walking-down-the-isle song.

The venue was packed to the brim with family and friends, but not a single person didn't have their eyes on Caitie and Justin the whole time. A room full of love- that is what you want on your wedding day.

Enjoy this pink, sunshine, love filled day as much as I did :)
