Patty and David’s wedding was a PNW fairytale!

With Disney fast passes directing guests to their seats, Tangled references in the ceremony decor, an ice cream cart, and custom pins, they truly transported everyone directly to Disneyland. Each table marker was painted with scenes from their favorite Disney movies.

Blu of course made a special appearance in his suit during the ceremony and family photos.

Patty then joined her dance team to surprise David with a choreographed dance. The evening ended under rainbow lanterns, and they lived happily ever after đŸ„č

Truly a Pacific Northwest classic!

K & L were two of the most thoughtful people we’ve had the privilege of working with đŸ«¶

From colors and design choices to handwritten letters to every single one of their guests, they truly wanted all of their guests feel appreciated and loved. We photographed their wedding on our one year anniversary, and they were kind enough to give a toast specifically for us, and asked their guests to give us a round of applause đŸ„Č

They even had dinner ready & plated for us as soon as toasts were over, at our own table, with our favorite desserts - just to make sure we were well taken care of on THEIR wedding day.

When the dance floor opened up, I got incredibly emotional. I had been struggling quite a bit with the current state of the world, and seeing so much joy got to me. Everyone was fully present in the moment. Whether it was the dance party inside or enjoying the fire pits outside, the entire atmosphere was filled with pure joy.

And I think that, in a nutshell, is why I love this work so much.

Been doin’ this for 7 years and I still cry at every wedding!

Weddings feel like a pause in time. Despite what’s going on in the world, everyone stops what they’re doing and sets it aside to support two people in love. Brothers share funny moments while they get ready. Mothers help their daughter secure their veil. Friends & chosen family step in where others fall short, and the focus is on celebrating a relationship. The first wedding I ever photographed had a profound impact on me. I remember delivering the gallery, and feeling like it was the first time in my life I had something to be pruod of.

Growing up, I remember looking at family trees with my grandmother, and noticing where trees collide and history is changed. Roots intertwine and a marriage is grown. Wedding photography is the artful documentation of these moments, and I don’t see myself doing anything different with my life!

And that’s why it would really mean the world to me to win Best of 2026 Seattle Photographer!
