The funny thing about being a photographer in my line of work is 90% of the time I'm arriving at a session meeting clients for the first time. It's such a unique thing how we just meet up, introduce ourselves, then we're in full session mode doing all kinds of fun things. My clients trust me even though they just met me. I don't take that for granted! Sometimes there's that client you just click with and you feel like you were never even strangers to begin with. It feels like we're just hanging out and I'm just snapping along. I love when that happens. I also love when clients want to keep me updated on their lives even after the session is over and I get to follow along documenting new chapters of their lives. I feel like the illustrator of your life story, painting the picture as your life unfolds in different chapters. What a beautiful thing it is to be a photographer!

A gray stormy evening swept through as the willow tree branches danced in the warm summer air. I always think you should reflect on your photos remember how it felt, sounded, and looked -- the textures of the grass underfoot or the willow leaves tickling your cheek. The smell of rain and humid summer air. The hands and feet of your children and the sound of their laughter... and their reminders of your bribe of promised ice cream 🍦😉

I love all that Backyard Wildflower Patch has to offer with their various spots to choose from! I look forward to photographing with the wildflowers there soon! Flowers 🌸 🌼
