Have you checked out the Deep Blue series on yet? In this project we are deep diving into the people who make Newport county so special . Pictured here is our feature with - glass artists based in Jamestown. Their property, home, and studio is a dream and I loved getting to see the process that goes into their breathtaking glass sculptures. Deep Blue is live on ! I’m so honored to have been chosen to document this series with Natalie and Julie from Discover Newport and words by - I only met Captain Nora the morning we did this shoot and she was instantly so warm and bright just like the lighthouse her family had dedicated their lives to protecting, we laughed the entire day and I will always treasure this being my first experience on the island, with hopefully many more to come! I couldn't be more excited to share with you Deep Blue, a project dreamed up by the amazing Natalie Manning at Discover Newport, shining a light on all the people that make Newport so phenomenal- away from the gilded and the golden, there are folks who spent their entire lives training those horses, driving those boats, catching that lobster, creating that art. I hope you'll take a moment to read these special stories, view the images and let us know what you think! I'm truly honored to have had this opportunity, a highlight of last year was stepping into sunlight and studios with Natalie and Julie- all beautifully written by Andrea McHugh.
