Sometimes the vision actually turns out exactly how you pictured it ✨

We planned this session for months—from the outfits to the location to making sure we had that perfect evening light—and then somehow it all came together even better than we imagined!!! Michelle Ketchum 😘

Villa Catalana Cellars in Oregon City might officially be in Oregon, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it. Inspired by a 12th-century Romanesque church in Catalonia, Spain, the stone architecture, Mediterranean gardens and dreamy light made the most incredible backdrop 🥰

This is why I love helping my couples plan more than just what time should we meet? The location, outfits and light all work together to create something that feels like you.

The Griffin House in the Columbia River Gorge is one of those places. The cliffs, the river, the wind, the trees — it’s basically everything I love about photographing weddings in Oregon wrapped into one incredible venue.

Some of my favorite wedding photos are often the quiet ones before everything begins. 🤍

There’s something so beautiful about the getting ready part of a wedding day—the anticipation, the final touches, the little glances in the mirror, the nerves and excitement all mixed together.

And in black + white? Even better. There’s a timelessness to black and white wedding photography that lets you really feel the moment without any distractions.

These are the kinds of photographs I want my couples to look back on years from now and remember exactly what it felt like to be there.

I feel like sometimes the wedding details get overlooked for wedding photographers. You have to realize that brides spend months and months planning every. single. detail. Many of the details have deep sentimental meaning. I want that to be reflected in your wedding gallery.

In my pre-wedding questionnaire I send to all my clients, I ask if there are any special details that I need to make sure and photograph ❤️

Skamania Loge - such a beautiful backdrop and location for a wedding! You get the stunning Columbia Gorge views. Nature. Great reception space. And right behind you is a very nice hotel you can retreat to when the day is over ♥️
