Some of my favorite wedding photos are often the quiet ones before everything begins. 🤍

There’s something so beautiful about the getting ready part of a wedding day—the anticipation, the final touches, the little glances in the mirror, the nerves and excitement all mixed together.

And in black + white? Even better. There’s a timelessness to black and white wedding photography that lets you really feel the moment without any distractions.

These are the kinds of photographs I want my couples to look back on years from now and remember exactly what it felt like to be there.

I feel like sometimes the wedding details get overlooked for wedding photographers. You have to realize that brides spend months and months planning every. single. detail. Many of the details have deep sentimental meaning. I want that to be reflected in your wedding gallery.

In my pre-wedding questionnaire I send to all my clients, I ask if there are any special details that I need to make sure and photograph ❤️

Private vows on the edge of the Columbia Gorge… with approximately ZERO cooperation from the wind 😂

Her veil was flying, hair was everywhere, they were getting whipped in the face mid-vow—and somehow it made this sweet, intimate moment even more perfect.

Also, whoever secured this veil deserves 1,000 gold stars because HOW did it stay on?! 😅😅

These are the moments I love most—the beautiful, imperfect, hilarious memories you’ll actually remember.
