I spend most of my life at the mercy of two things… the weather and tiny humans. 😂

One minute I’m changing plans because it’s raining, too hot, too cloudy, too windy, or Ohio is just being Ohio. The next minute I’m negotiating with a toddler who has decided smiling is no longer on today’s agenda.

This session had a little bit of everything. Mr. Colin was coming off an ear infection, cutting teeth, and feeling all the baby feelings. We could have called it a day… but that’s not really how we do things around here.

So we played, we took breaks, we acted silly, we worked for those smiles, and guess what…

WE GOT THE PHOTOS! 🎉

Because the truth is, great sessions aren’t always the easiest sessions. Sometimes they’re the ones where everyone shows up, rolls with it, and keeps going.

And in the end? We captured this sweet boy exactly as he is right now—and he’s pretty freaking adorable if you ask me. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Colin! Thanks for keeping me on my toes, little buddy! 🎂📸🎈

Fair season is almost here, and before the craziness begins, let's celebrate the journey. The early mornings, late barn nights, dirty boots, and the animals you've spent months caring for. These sessions are about telling your story and preserving the memories that matter long after the fair is over.

This year I'm doing things a little differently! I'll be mapping out routes and locations over 3 different days. Once I have my route planned, I'll post available time slots at each stop. You simply sign up for the location and time that works best for you, and I'll handle the rest! ( may change a bit with timing )

Meet the Claylick Farm crew! 🐮

Our goal for this session was simple—tell their story from start to finish. The one thing I know for sure we captured? Laramie is definitely the boss around this farm. 😂

But the real story goes much deeper than that. This family has worked hard to build something special from the ground up—healthy animals, a strong bull program, and some seriously delicious beef. (I may or may not have taken a plate home with me… for research purposes, of course. 😉)

One thing I love about farm sessions is preserving stories. So many farm families are losing pieces of their history as land changes hands and generations move on. That isn’t the case here. Their roots run deep, and their story deserves to be told.

From the pastures to the people behind it all, we captured the whole picture—and had an absolute blast doing it. ❤️

Happy Tuesday!

School’s out for summer, which means you may see one or two extra helpers tagging along with me from time to time. ❤️

One of my favorite things is building the next generation and teaching my kids what it means to work hard, serve others, and chase their dreams. So if you see one of them carrying a camera, don’t panic—we’re just raising the next generation of photographers over here!

I promise, it’ll all be okay… and they might even steal a few smiles while they’re at it. 📸☀️💛

Congrats Laney! The photobooth was a complete hit! Just because it’s a drop-off booth doesn’t mean we don’t keep an eye on it! I’m still rolling on the back end making sure everything is running smooth and guests are having fun. I promise you… this thing gets the party going! 🎉📸
