Kelsey + Mike skipped the ballroom and booked out a restaurant instead, which tells you everything you need to know about them. Church in the early afternoon, oysters and espresso martinis by dinner, and somewhere in between everyone found their seat by hunting for their face in a sea of polaroids. The couple was led into the room by a saxophonist and speeches happened by candlelight, which is just unfair to anyone trying not to cry. Then the live band started and absolutely nobody sat down again.

And that dress. I’m still thinking about that dress. 🤍

Nobody remembers their wedding dinner in sharp focus. You remember the noise, the light going gold and then blue, and the feeling that every person you love was within arm’s reach for one night.

That’s what I’m photographing. I want pictures that hand you the whole evening back the second you see them, twenty years from now, when the details have gone soft but the feeling hasn’t.

The McLaughlins

Katannah + Owain started the celebration in Rome and Florence, then brought everyone back to a villa in Tuscany for the main event. Friday was pizza and w**e with the whole group, easing into what turned out to be an incredible weekend. The wedding day was one people can only dream about - warm mountain winds through the olive trees, a veil being tossed out a tower window, more drinks and cigs than you’d ever indulge in at home, and an al fresco dinner consisting of pasta fit for the gods.

From the first looks to the ceremony officiated by cousin Scott to the moment dancing started, more people had cried than I would have thought humanly possible (myself included). This is the kind of wedding weekend you quite literally never forget, and man was it a banger to be a part of.

✨ Lee & Andrew ✨

What a weekend. Compass Rose in Prince Edward County gave us woods, wildflowers, and just enough golden light to make everyone a little emotional before the ceremony even started. Andrew was already tearing up watching Lee walk toward him, and honestly, so was half the crowd.

There was a lot of missing someone in the room too — the kind of ache that shows up at weddings when you wish certain people could’ve been there to see it. Speeches walked that line beautifully, part arthouse performance part completely unguarded, the kind that get you laughing and wrecked in the same breath. And then everyone just let go. String lights, a packed dance floor, drinks flying, Andrew spinning Lee so hard her dress went horizontal — a full, unfiltered celebration with nobody holding back.

Some weekends you just don’t want to end. This was one of them.
