Summer love (get it?) with K+M 🎾

A road trip from Toronto and a game-day call based on the weather turned into the most gorgeous, blinding-sun kind of afternoon. Pure luck, and it made the day even better.

K+M’s wedding is going to be chic, classy, intimate restaurant energy - so it’s no surprise their engagement session had that same courtside cool.

This is why I always love when couples build their day around what’s actually them, from the vibes to the venue to the music.

Engagement sessions built around something you genuinely love doing together are always the most fun.

A gorgeous al fresco Italy-inspired day, in rose tones with pink cake and fairy lights and just the right amount of whimsy.

Surrounded by all the people they love most, it was such an emotional day filled with tight-knit family, inside jokes, and so much laughter.

There’s nothing quite like dining under the stars and ending the day dancing with all of your favourite people.

There’s a particular kind of energy that only happens when everyone you love is in the same place with nowhere else to be.

That was Colombe & Zoli’s weekend.

Three days in Mexico that unfolded slowly—an all-white welcome dinner beneath the palms, vows with the ocean just behind them, dinner as the light disappeared, and a dance floor that carried everyone late into the night. Nothing felt rushed. Every part of it felt like an invitation to stay a little longer.

The kind of celebration that reminds you the best memories are almost always made in between the big moments.

What started as a retro poolside concept slowly transformed into something completely different - an English countryside estate meets a slow, dreamy summer afternoon.

Once we arrived, we couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the property felt. Instead of forcing the original vision, we let the location lead us. We made faux sun when we needed it, pulled out vintage chairs and a few props, and leaned into the feeling of spending an afternoon in an English garden, completely lost in time.

Amanda is not only stunning, she’s also the kind of person who immediately understands the vision (iykyk). The second we started talking through the pivot, she was all in. We bounced ideas back and forth, built on each other’s excitement, and by the end of the shoot we both knew we’d created something even better than what we’d originally planned.

Safe to say... we’re a little obsessed.

Reminiscing on this gorgeous + intimate Prince Edward County wedding from a couple years back. K+A wanted to host their closest friends and family at a destination for the entire weekend, and every choice they made was so intentional. A few of my fave shots, all on film. 🎞️

Rain rolled in before the ceremony - which was outside in front of the water - so we waited while the storm blew past.

Wedding weekends are the ultimate - because when else can you do a mini adventure together the day before your wedding?

K+A’s gorgeous outdoor ceremony, surrounded by family and friends, as waves crashed behind them.

This reception was a ✨vibe✨
Like the best dinner party you could ever hope to host.

The County really is the best place to host a destination wedding without ever having to leave the province.

Great music, jackets off, ties off, drinking til the after party kinda vibes.

When you feel like the waves might swallow you whole and it’s ok because you’re with the one who matters most.

An evening in the city that reminded me why I love engagement sessions so much.

S&J are the coolest couple - so fun, both with killer smiles and great laughs. We spent the evening in their neighbourhood, walking their pup, grabbing drinks, and laughing our asses off. You know they’re just the kindest souls - gently pointing out there was an empty lot right in front of us after watching me unsuccessfully parallel park 🙃, laughing every time Josh whipped out his moustache comb, letting Teddy have the time of his life at the park, and chatting with every neighbour we passed.

This is exactly why I do what I do.

I can’t promise you’ll make your post-shoot dinner res on time - but I can promise you it’ll be worth it.

S&J, can’t wait for the big day at next year. 🥂
