I am a self-taught photographer that pulls from different mediums and art forms to create my work. I wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Cloee and I am a conceptual photographer. I was born in Idaho and raised in Chico, CA, although I have had many different home bases across the country where I have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele base. Photography is one of the many ways I express myself creatively and have taken inspiration form the art movements of Impressioism and postimpressionism which play with color, light, and creating an alternate reality.

My first creative work in my new home!

Played around with sculptural wire for the first time and I cannot wait to incorporate it more into my work. I had a blast styling this with a stunning view!

Maybe I don’t actually want to pick a thing. Maybe I just want to be an artist.

I’ve spent years making props and sets for my own photography, and lately I’ve been realizing that the behind-the-scenes making might be just as exciting to me as the camera work.

I love building things with my hands, figuring out how to make an idea physically exist, and collaborating with other artists to make something bigger than what I could make alone.

So… I made two giant dandelions.

Photography is still very much part of my practice, but I think I’m ready to see where the making takes me!

I think the best thing about having an eclectic sense of style is I already had the clothing in wardrobe to style these flat lays with unique and playful brooches by History Time Travel
