i loveeeeee proposals omg 🥹🥹🥹 this weekend my sweet friend Emily invited me out to photograph her proposing back to her lovely fiancée Kristina. and i simply could not say no because the only thing better than a gay proposal is a gay double proposal. the group of friends hiding in the bushes to surprise her were the cherry on top 🥰

congrats you two! capturing your love was such a joy 💐

in lieu of a 2025 wrapped style post (which i had ever intention of making before i got sick for 6 weeks straight) please enjoy the photo i’ve been gatekeeping for like 7 months now.

2025 taught me that if someone comes to me and is like “i have a vision” i will pull out all the stops to bring that vision to life. even if pulling out the stops looks like an impulsive 24 hour trip to NYC to get ✨the shot✨ on the steps of the public library.

anyways that’s it. that’s the post. and that’s the photo. like THE photo. photo of the year argue with the wall.

one random day last year, i was driving home from a doctors appointment and was feeling just kind of defeated. if you have chronic illness, you get it. but as im driving home, i see the CUTEST little farm stand on the side of the road and it instantly boosted my mood. if you know me, you know that flowers will always cheer me up in an instant. i didn’t stop that day, but i went home and searched every combination of “blessed” and “blooms” on instagram (because that’s all i could remember from the sign 😅) until i found

this year ive gotten to swing by a couple times and grab some gorgeous bouquets to brighten up my house, but even more special than that, ive gotten to know Nailah. the saying “to know her is to love her” is such a cliche, but i don’t think there’s a better way to describe Nailah. i swear every time i stop by her farm stand, there is no shortage of returning customers happily returning to buy more flowers. additionally, i’ve had the joy of watching new customers stumble upon the stand and gotten to share their excitement with them. whether new or old, Nailah just has this way of making every customer who stops by feel seen and valued and the way she uplifts everyone she comes across is just so special.

her season is winding down right now, but i’m so glad i got to hang out and grab some photos for her recently. if you’re in atlanta, give her a follow and go pick up some flowers next time she’s around 💛💐

the summer i photographed horses ✨

most of y’all never knew me as a kid, but i was the BIGGEST wannabe horse girl. unfortunately, my parents (understandably) had other financial priorities, so my horse girl dreams began and ended with summer camp pony rides and casual riding lessons at the YMCA. that said, i have never lost my love of being around horses and have been interested in equine photography for quite some time. i’m so stoked that i finally got to dip my toes in it this year. super thankful for and for letting me come photograph their schooling shows this summer to see if this was even something i liked doing, and thanks to for having me out to second shoot for her once i confirmed that this is, in fact, something i like doing. looking forward to more of this in the future 🐴❤️

(pictures 1, 5, 11, &16 were second shot for )

when i was little, i asked my mom who the flower girl at her wedding was. when she told me it had been my cousin, i asked why it hadn’t been me. she explained that i hadn’t actually been born yet when she and my dad got married. not one to be deterred by sound logic, i insisted that i actually still should have been given that honor. so shoutout to all of the parents who have to explain the concept of existence to their hard headed kids today. yall are the real MVPs.

anyways, sweet flower girl moment from a lovely little wedding i second shot for who is also the real MVP 🌸💐
