Updated editing queue

Tomorrow’s plans are to get peeks for all of the regular sessions that I have not posted yet. Get them all culled and get A & Cs wedding culled as well.

All weddings except A and C have been culled and are in the editing phase 🥳

M & D yours is part way through the editing process. You should be expecting your gallery this week!! I am also hoping to get K & Es wedding done and possibly M & Gs also. It I do have a Friday and Saturday wedding again this week so we will see how far I get before Friday.

Here is the wedding editing process just to give you an idea of how many times I touch your photos and why it takes the time it takes. They are first brought into my computer and then culled. I typically start with about 4,000ish images and cull them down to the best 800 to 1,000ish images getting rid of any duplicates, blinks, unintentionaly blurred, etc. I do not use ai to help with this like some do. I do not feel it always picks the ones it should so I do this manually always!! Then I run them through a software to straighten them and add my color correction profile. From there I go through every single image again adjusting any color correction or crop further to my liking and style because it is never perfect from the software. After that I export and sort them into folders and I bring in (almost) all of the images to photoshop where I edit out any distractions I do not like (bugs, exit signs, etc.) once that is complete the folders are uploaded onto my gallery host site and then the gallery is reviewed and sent over to you. It is a long process before they get into your hands. Capturing the day is just a tiny part of it all.

I appreciate everyone’s patience this time of year. It is always extra busy!! I have 9 more weddings left to capture before the holidays start which means I’m out there capturing at least one wedding a weekend basically until the first week of November.

Good news!! The bouquets that went missing yesterday was just a Venmo that didn’t go through. We have very bad service out this way. The person who came and grabbed some checked her Venmo and sent me a message letting me know. She’s a great client and bought flowers before so I know it was a totally honest mistake ❤️ that being said I will keep the stand down there unless more start disappearing again.

Flowers are stocked!! I have a couple helpers today too to help me keep it stocked up all day.

The persons venmo did not come through. She messaged me and apologized all is well!! So happy to hear it was a just honest mistake this time.

Flower update: two bouquets were stolen today. I am assuming it is probably the same person driving by and taking them now that they know they are out there so I am going to pull the stand tomorrow probably for the remaining part of the year. I do not want them to keep swinging by knowing they are out there. If they don’t see them out there for a while maybe they will stop checking. I might try again in a week or so and see what happens we will see how I feel. I do not have enough down there to invest in a camera. Maybe next year if I start making it more of a business. In the mean time if you know you want some please reach out to me and I will set them on the porch for pick up or can run them down if I know when you’re coming.

Flowers are stocked at the end of the driveway.

Today is kind of a test. The last few days one has gone missing each day without being paid for. I already have them wayyy reasonably priced so this makes me sad. Come on people!! I am not making money off of these. All of the money made has been split with Addie. My half is not even covering what I have into seeds and dahlia tubers. I am literally just wanting to fund most of next year’s seeds so I can keep the garden growing. It is my little escape and a fun thing to do with Addie.

Anyways, if this keeps happening I will probably just stop stocking for the year and let them go to seed to share with my friends and family because it also takes up a great deal of time picking them to put out and fall is already busy over here.

***Side note I am sure it has not been any of my wonderful clients. You guys are all so amazing!! I just wanted to update everyone incase I do stop putting them out. If you know you want some but I stop putting them down by the road please message me because I will be more then happy to put some out on the porch for you!
