A warm summer evening at the pond. Fishing poles, barefoot kiddos, golden light, and the sweetest family of four.

What makes these photos even more meaningful is knowing they were taken just days before my dear friend faced one of the biggest battles of her life.

I’ve always admired her strength, but watching her walk through this season with such courage, grace, and unwavering love for her family has been incredibly inspiring.

These images are a reminder that some of life’s most ordinary moments become our most treasured ones. The laughter, the quiet conversations, the little hands reaching for Mom and Dad… they’re the moments worth holding onto.

I’m so thankful we captured this evening—one filled with love, hope, and a family that continues to show what true strength looks like. 🤍

We spent the evening exploring the pasture, feeding the baby Highland cows, saying hello to the chickens, and watching the horses graze as the sun dipped lower in the sky. It wasn’t about perfectly posed photos—it was about slowing down, laughing together, and making memories that these girls will carry with them for years to come.

There is something so special about documenting families in places that feel like them. The giggles, the cuddles, the curious little hands reaching out to pet a fluffy calf, and the quiet moments between mom and dad while their girls ran free… those are the moments worth remembering.

Summer has a way of reminding us that the simplest evenings often become the ones we treasure most.

So grateful I get to preserve seasons like this. 🌾🐴🐓🤍

This session had all the sweetest chaos in the best way—two proud big brothers who couldn’t decide if they wanted to cuddle their baby sister or run outside to catch crickets first 🦗🤍
So we did both.
Between tiny newborn snuggles, there were barefoot adventures in the yard, pockets full of “look what I found!”, and the kind of giggles that only happen when childhood is completely unplanned and fully lived in.
And in the middle of it all—this brand new baby girl, so calm and perfect, already right at home in the middle of her loud, loving crew.
These are the kinds of sessions I never want to end. 🤍

This summertime maternity session was everything I love about family photography—playful moments, genuine laughter, and the anticipation of welcoming a new baby brother into the family.

This sweet family of six invited me into their backyard, where childhood is unfolding exactly as it should—swinging high into the sky, feeding horses, chasing chickens, and making memories together. There were no elaborate props or perfect poses needed. Just a family doing what they love, in the place that means the most to them.

The kids ran barefoot through the grass, giggled as the chickens scattered, and snuggled up with their horses. Mom and Dad soaked it all in, surrounded by the beautiful chaos that comes with raising four little ones.

These are the sessions I love most. The ones that tell a story. The ones that capture not just what life looks like, but what it feels like.

Years from now, these photos won’t just remind them of how their backyard looked—they’ll remind them of the laughter, the adventure, and the simple joy of being together.

There’s something so special about documenting a family in the home they built together 🤍

This sweet family recently moved into their dream home and welcomed their beautiful baby girl, so getting to capture this season for them felt extra meaningful. Their session was full of the sweetest little moments — dancing in the living room, playing guitar together, baby snuggles, and their little boy running around making everyone laugh the entire time.

These are the moments I always want families to remember most… not perfectly posed photos, but the joy, movement, noise, and love that fills their home right now.

Their house is brand new, but somehow it already feels filled with years worth of love 🫶🏻
