Shortly after becoming a mother in November 2014 I found my passion for photography. I wanted to freeze and remember every detail of my son; since there isn't a pause button on life I began taking pictures of him. I wanted to be able to capture moments in time that I would never be able to recreate again. Through those pictures I ventured out to close friends and family and now here I am! Photography makes me happy and its not just a job but my "happy place!"

Did you hear?!

Fall bookings are open, AND I did things a little different this year. I have Petite session scattered throughout my calendar stacked with full sessions to offer more dates and flexibility since fall is such a busy time of the year. Message me or comment link and I will send you my calendar.

I would also love your feedback on themed minis, for example pumpkins for fall, Christmas, and maybe a halloween one this year.. ??

And I don't know about you but school photos can be so hit or miss with kids, I thought about a portrait session in studio for the kiddos?

A laid back kinda session where smiles aren't forced and memories are made.

I think FUN was had by all and Bo + Luke enjoyed a popsicle and they both gave it a thumbs up!!!

Sessions don't have to be stiff, they don't have to be perfect, they just need to be had. You and your family are ever changing, make the time to press pause of your busy to-dos and get the photos done. I promise you, you will NEVER regret an investment in photos.

It's hard to believe that summer will be over and the kiddos will be back in school next week!! I remember being little and thinking that time passed so slowly and Christmas always felt so far away, now it's like everything is here and gone in a flash.

So with summer coming to an end, Fall is going to be on everyone's mind so I will be releasing FALL dates on August 3rd!

I will have mini dates and full sessions available for self booking on my site, so keep those eyes peeled and I hope to see old and new faces over the next few months!!

When you look back on your session years from now, what will you remember? I know this family will remember their summers spent outside chasing a slow way of life.

They will remember learning to play ball in the backyard and cooling off with ice cream and the sprinkler.

They will remember the garden mommy planted and the way the just about downed every tiny tomato before our session was over. They will remember what it felt like to grow up at their home just by looking at these one day, down the road.

I hope this season of life you're in is the year you say yes to home sessions. I hope this is the year you book a session, just because and not for the yearly Christmas card..

I hope this session shows you something different.

A good time was had, I do believe we all left with our cheeks hurting. Knox is full of belly laughs and enjoyed all his favorite things to celebrate turning THREE!!!I have been doing photos for this family from their pregnancy announcement many years ago, it so special to me to watch kids and families grow and change through the seasons. It's like having a first row ticket - I am just glad to be able to share my love of photography with others so they have a forever pause button on their memories.

These days are long, but the years... man, those are short. Im living that realization, the teen years are a lot closer than id like to admit.

Make sure you take the time to document your life and this season, it will be GONE and onto another one.
