Almost a year later. Same sweet girl. Same location.

One of my absolute favorite things about photography is my returning families. Getting to watch your babies grow right in front of my camera and knowing you continue to trust me with these little pieces of their childhood means more than you know.

Do you remember when summer felt endless?

When the only thing that mattered was making it home before the streetlights came on.

Catching lightning bugs.

Fishing until sunset.

Riding down dirt roads with the windows down.

Bare feet in the grass.

Staying outside until someone called your name from the front porch.

Back then, we had no idea those ordinary days would become some of our favorite memories.

It's funny how the moments we miss the most are usually the ones we never realized we were living.

When I started Marked Moments, it was just me, a camera, and a dream.

Over the years, this little business has become so much more than I ever imagined, and it's all because of the incredible people who have trusted me to capture their stories.

As Derek and I have been planning our own wedding, we've discovered something...

We absolutely love working together.

While I've always loved photographing weddings, we've realized that together we can offer couples so much more than beautiful images. We can help create a wedding day that feels organized, calm, and full of moments that matter.

So, I'm so excited to officially share that Derek is joining Marked Moments as my Dedicated Wedding Assistant!

This means that when you book your wedding with us, you'll have an entire team invested in making your day as stress-free and memorable as possible. While I'm behind the camera capturing every smile, happy tear, and quiet moment, Derek will be behind the scenes helping keep the day flowing, assisting with timelines, gathering family members, and making sure those little details don't get overlooked.

We're also excited to begin offering Wedding Day Coordination as an add-on to our wedding photography packages so we can serve our couples even more intentionally.

This is only the beginning, and we're so excited to continue growing together—not just as a couple, but as a team.

We spend so much time scrolling past each other's lives that we rarely stop to hear the stories behind them.

I believe every picture has one.

Some remind us of the happiest day of our lives.

Some take us back to a person we'd give anything to hug one more time.
