Pumpkin Patch
Oct 12th | Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch, McMinnville | 3-4pm | $225

Tree Farm
Nov 7th | Wildwood Tree Farm, Woodbury | 2-3pm | $225

Perfect for family photos, Christmas cards, maternity, or senior sessions — especially if a full session isn’t in the budget this year.

This price includes the cost of entry into each farm as well. So feel free to make a family date of it and find some pumpkins or cut your Christmas tree down.

Spots are first come, first served & limited. I will NOT be booking additional weekend family sessions during these months, so grab yours while you can!

As soon as Tucker wakes up every morning, he wants to go outside.

If you have a little boy, you probably understand. 🤍

Our first stop is always the garden. We pick whatever vegetables are ready, pull a few weeds, water the plants, and somehow there are now permanent dump trucks, shovels, and tiny boots scattered throughout the beds.

Some mornings we come back inside with tomatoes and cucumbers. Other mornings it’s just dirty little hands and pockets full of rocks.

One of Tucker’s favorite places is this little garden. I planted it to grow food for our family, but somewhere along the way, it became a place where we’re growing up together.

These are the moments I never want to forget. The ones that seem ordinary now but will someday be the ones I miss the most.

That’s why I love documentary family photography. It’s not about perfect poses—it’s about preserving what this season of life actually feels like.

The very first frame I ever made on film.

A mirror, a self-portrait, a camera I barely knew how to use, and no idea that one click would completely change the way I saw the world.

I took this in 2022, and looking back now, it feels less like a photograph and more like the beginning of a love letter.

Film taught me to slow down. To wait. To notice. To believe that the ordinary moments are often the ones we’ll treasure most.

These days, my camera spends more time pointed toward tiny hands reaching for mine, parents soaking in a fleeting season, grandparents hugging a little tighter, and families simply existing together. The moments that don’t seem extraordinary today become the ones you’ll ache to remember years from now.

That’s why I’ll always come back to documentary photography. Not because every image is perfect, but because every image is honest.

This first frame reminds me that every photographer starts somewhere. And I’m so grateful that one roll of film led me here—telling stories that will outlive all of us.

Here’s to the imperfect beginnings… and to preserving the people we love before time quietly changes everything. 🤍
