The witness to my own suffering
A surrealist composite depicting my higher self looking down at my pain body in agony.
It highlights the disconnect between your body and soul when you live with chronic pain. A disconnect that was made for survival. The pixelated and blurry version of me depicts how the soul starts to fragment during prolonged periods of pain.
This is very vulnerable for me.
