We’re super excited to announce the launch of our educational series at Imani Black Studios📸📚

The studio is not only an art gallery and photography studio, but also a hub for photographers and other creatives to explore and learn more about their practice right in the heart of the city.

We’ve partner with renowned photographer + videographer Mitch of to share his insight in the world of corporate photography. 📸

Mitch has worked with a variety of corporate, commercial, nonprofit, and media clients across Texas, producing photography and video content for events, interviews, branded campaigns, podcasts, and live experiences.

Attendees will get an inside look at how Mitch approaches corporate assignments, including shot lists, anticipating moments, working efficiently in fast paced environments.

We kick-off the workshop next Saturday, May 30 from 10am to 12pm.

EXCITING NEWS🙋🏾‍♀️✨

After years of hard work, we did it Joe!

I’m finally opening a space of my own in DEEP ELLUM 🤪

I’ve been active in the neighborhood since 2017 from curating art shows TO capturing the beauty of Deep Ellum AND the people TO being honored with a banner recognizing my contributions.

Join me on Saturday, May 16 4-7pm for the grand opening reception of my creative studio + gallery.

We’re kicking it off with my solo exhibition THROUGH MY LENS featuring a collection of portraits and landscapes I’ve captured over the years. Some of these photos go as far back as 2017. 📸🙋🏾‍♀️

I’m so thankful and super excited to open my space. Can’t wait to share more with yall.
