Recently I could hear the song of wood thrushes throughout the woods at Radnor Lake State Conservation Area in Nashville. They sang that the migrants had arrived. As almost as quickly, the songs were absent. Only an occasional song can be heard now. But for a few, the migrants have moved on.

After several days of much needed rain the sun briefly peaked from behind the clouds to light up the trail.
