Amy of Evanescence commanding the stage in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena

Playing in Nashville carried an added sense of significance for Amy Lee, whose long-standing ties to Music City made the homecoming feel especially meaningful. Her ties to Music City run deep, with Nashville serving as both a creative home base and a grounding point in her evolution as a songwriter, where the city’s storytelling culture has long influenced her blend of cinematic rock and emotional lyricism. In a city known for celebrating songwriting across every genre, Evanescence proved that heavy music has a place in Nashville’s musical identity as well.

For one night in Nashville, Bridgestone Arena became the meeting point of rock’s past, present, and future, and every band on the bill rose to the occasion. Nova Twins opened the evening with fearless innovation and explosive energy, Spiritbox demonstrated why they have become one of the defining forces in modern heavy music, and Evanescence reminded the crowd exactly why their influence has endured for more than two decades while proving they still have plenty left to say. Together, the three acts created a celebration of artistry, resilience, and evolution that transcended generations and genres. More than just a concert, the night stood as a testament to the continued growth of women-led rock and metal—and left Nashville with a performance that will be remembered long after the final note faded.

Evanescence brought the World Tour to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on June 15 with Spiritbox and Nova Twins in support — and it was one of those nights that reminded you exactly why live music matters.

Amy Lee was extraordinary. Courtney LaPlante held the room completely. Nova Twins came out like a bottle rocket and never let up. All three women joined Amy on stage for "Fight Like a Girl."

Evanescence Spiritbox NOVA TWINS

Amy of Evanescence is, without question, one of the best live vocalists I’ve ever heard. A complete powerhouse, she carried every song with incredible control, emotion, and presence. She confidently commanded the stage in Bridgestone Arena, alternating between moments of graceful stillness at the piano and sweeping walks across the catwalk that drew cheers from every section of the arena. Her connection with the audience was heartfelt, genuine, and one of the things that made the show so memorable. When Amy sat down at the piano and played the opening notes of “Bring Me to Life,” the place absolutely erupted.

It’s easy to see why Evanescence has remained so influential for more than two decades. They helped define a generation by blending nu-metal, hard rock, soaring melodies, and emotionally raw songwriting into something uniquely their own. That signature sound not only made them a household name after Fallen (2003) but also helped open doors for countless female-fronted rock and metal bands that followed.

Evanescence is currently in a full resurgence cycle driven by their new 2026 album Sanctuary, which has repositioned the band as more than a nostalgia act and back into active, modern rock relevance. The album’s themes of resilience, control, and emotional survival reinforce Amy Lee’s position at the center of Evanescence’s modern identity rather than its past. Evanescence is here to stay for a long, long time! 🤘🏼
