Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Gose passed away on October 19th, 2026, surrounded by herloving family.

Born November 18, 1978, Betsy was the oldest of four daughters born to Roger andNancy McGuigan. She was a 1997 graduate of Coatesville Area High School and 2004 graduate of Shepherd University where she received her Bachelor of the Arts in
Photography. From there, she moved to the South, where she soon put down roots. On August 5, 2007, Betsy married Rich Gose, and together they later welcomed their sons, Logan and Raylan. She was an active member of The Rock Church.
Her faith was woven into the way she loved her family, served others, and showed up for people who needed her. Betsy’s connection with her parents brought support throughout the years. She adored her sisters and the bond they shared. She loved her husband deeply, and her sons were her pride and joy - she was their biggest fan.

Betsy had a wonderful sense of humor and a special talent for sending the perfect hilarious reel at just the right moment. Her laughter was infectious. She was enthusiastic about her plant hobby despite many failed attempts to keep them alive. She may not have been able to help a plant thrive, but she knew how to make the people in her life feel alive, supported, and loved.

She wouldn't want you to say she "lost her battle with cancer". During her journey her faith in God never wavered. She would want you to pray for those who are surviving with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She would also want you to take action. She would want you to use your time, abilities and resources to help those living with cancer every day, for years on end as she did - a constant stream of treatments, appointments, scans, and uncertainty. Think when you pink.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy McGuigan.
In addition to her husband Rich, and sons Logan and Raylan, she is survived by her father, Roger McGuigan; three sisters: Eryn (Matt) Ware; Alicia (Frank) McGuigan; Sarah (Scott) Rutter; and nieces Lillian & Charlotte McGuigan and Mackenzie & Chloe
Rutter, as well as by her loyal dog Thelma and sweet cat Louise.

Services will be held Saturday, November 7th at 2:00pm at the Rock Church in Conway. 1408 Mill Pond Road, Conway SC 29526

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Rich’s wife, Betsy Gose. Rich and Betsy met in the lab twenty years ago, and we have been incredibly blessed to watch their love story unfold—from a memorable proposal on our front sign to watching their family grow.

Thank you to the many clients and friends who have already reached out. We have shared your kind words and inquiries with Rich to let him know he is surrounded by love. We are staying in close touch with Rich and will post details regarding services as soon as they are available. Please keep Rich and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of profound loss.

📸 Is your digital photo library getting a little out of control?

FYI: Did you know 803 Labs, Inc. does very large canvases? The canvas I am working on today, for a commercial client, is 36” high and 100” wide (I cannot post the image). When we create any canvas with a side larger than 60”, we use wooden bars reinforced with aluminum, which are much stronger and do not warp over time. If we used wood only, a canvas this size would not stay flat against a wall.
