🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After the recent 7th Circuit ruling involving AI generated CSAM and seeing just how far AI can take someone’s image, I no longer feel comfortable posting identifiable photos of children. Model release or not.‼️

Will this affect my business? Maybe. Will I have less content to share? Probably.🤷🏼‍♀️

But I’m okay with that.💁🏼‍♀️

I’d rather have less content than knowingly contribute to something that could potentially put a child at risk. Some things are more important than business or content.📸✨🫶🏼

MJP will be closed from June 15th through September 8th as I take some time to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with my family before a busy Fall. ✨

It never fails.

At least, once a week i hear "wow, your camera takes really good pictures".

I often reply with a "thanks, i taught it everything it knows!" and silently roll my eyes.

My point?

Sure, i have a nice camera. Professional. Full frame. Couple of different lenses. Big battery pack. You name it.

But ya see, the camera produces the quality; the photographer creates the picture and the people make the memories... all three are required to make magic.

So, yes. Yes, i do have a nice camera. Yes, it does produce good pictures. But being a experienced, professional photographer makes a difference. I promise.

Anyone can take a picture, few can create and capture a "quality" picture.
