There are a lot of you guys that may not know this, but, my husband and I are the youth pastors at our church and this year we have 7 seniors graduating. They are all so special in their own ways, and I can't wait to have more of them in front of the camera soon. This girl has a heart that I don't think I have ever seen in a "child". She loves fiercely, and up until being pregnant with our first daughter right now, she has been the daughter we didn't have. She unfortunately lost her dad a few years ago, the colorful teddy bear is made from one of his shirts, and having been able to know Mr. Mat, I can say with absolute certainty that, he would be so dang proud of this one. She has, and will continue to do mighty things for the Kingdom. Check out Chapel Hill senior, Grace!

This sneak peek deserved its own separate post. Like I said in my last post, this family has been with me many years, I love them. When April told me she learned she had stage 3 colon cancer, my heart broke for her and her family. She had recently lost her dad to the same cancer, and that is the only way she even found out she, too, had this, and stage 3 at that. Tonight, she was able to pop blue confetti in honor of colon cancer, because this wonderful woman is CANCER FREE!!!! and WILL remain that way IN JESUS NAME! I couldn't help but cry with her when she did this, to go through cancer, also while grieving the loss of her dad, I simply can not imagine. I obviously was not there through her journey with this, but, I know without a shadow of a doubt, she is tremendously mighty. Congratulations, April! You, my friend, did it🥰

I told April as I was leaving that I would go straight home and edit sneak peeks, I did not lie, I did just that. It has been so long since I have seen this family and I missed them so much! They have been with me for so many years, so much so, their dog Perla has been in front of my camera longer than the kids.

I love getting to see this precious bunch every fall! Every year these kids get so much bigger, and though it is fun watching them grow, it is sad that they grow sooo much in just a year. It is also funny how some years we are freezing during their shoot and some we are sweating. Gotta love Texas Fall.
