It was awesome to see Kassi Ashton again at Musikfest this year! I discovered her opening for Old Dominion there a few years ago and was totally blown away. Her album "Made from the Dirt" has been one of my constants in the car ever since it came out. I definitely had that Bon Jovi shirt in high school too haha.

Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 approaches Penn Haven Junction in Lehigh Gorge State Park on the evening of July 1st, 2026. They would pass through a considerable crowd here on their way down to Jim Thorpe for the evening.

Daily Photo 97: Bixby Bridge. It's been a bit since I made it out to California, but there's really nothing like driving up and down the coast out there.

Daily Photo 95: Blue Gray Gnatcatcher. I have pretty good luck catching these little guys, but they're just so cute.

Daily Photo 94: The Watchful Eye. This was pretty challenging from the distance I was with the heat. The heat waves tend to make it hard to get crisp images, but I still managed something decent. I can spot different types of birds from miles away at this point.

Daily Photo 93: New York Skyline. I had to make the dreaded trip to Newark Airport again last night at the ungodly hour of picking someone up at 11pm. My usual place to kill time is Liberty State Park, but that closes at 10pm and I arrived at 915pm, so I decided to head over to Hoboken (after stopping at approximately 25 stop signs). The streets were alive with everyone screaming over the Knicks game but I wasn't particularly invested in that. I really wanted to see the train station building, but it's under construction right now so options for photos weren't the best. I did manage a few pretty cool ones though!

Daily Photo 90: Penn Haven Junction is for Lovers? Went out to scope out some train related stuff and ended up seeing two Eastern Rat Snakes(?? not sure) mating. I'll be honest when I went to walk back across this bridge and saw them I nearly had a heart attack, but realized they were kind of busy and didn't care about me.

Daily Photo 87: Another Philly long exposure. I took this one after shooting a wedding in the city in the fall of 2024. The whole day was amazing weather so I stopped again when I was heading home to grab some cool long exposures of churches
