I have both so much and so little going on in my life right now. What I mean is that I have short-term plans but not really any long-term ones. I kind of like the concept of not knowing where the hell I’ll be in a couple months. I know I want to take some time off to experience new things and work on some personal projects, but I also need to start being financially smarter. These next few months are going to be very important and with that being said, 2019 should be an interesting year for me. @ Yosemite National Park

Met a lot of awesome people from different backgrounds this trip. Liam, Ben, and Laura are a couple of talented climbers from our campsite who ended up taking us to some pretty iconic bouldering problems super late at night (Midnight Lightning V8 and Bachar Cracker V4). Using our headlamps to light up the spots, I got to witness and capture these guys send it up some sketchy ass rocks in freezing temperatures. Such a fun experience and another reason why I love Yosemite so much. @ Yosemite National Park

Tomorrow is my last day as a college student and I’m not really sure how to feel. It’s actually much bigger than it being the last day of college. I’m looking at it as my last day ever being a student in general. To put it into perspective, my whole life to this point has always been separated into semesters and quarters with spring, summer, fall, and winter breaks followed or preceded by school curriculum. A huge part of my life’s works and efforts have been measured solely by letter grades. Someone was always teaching me something in a classroom, which was like a second home to me. After tomorrow, it won’t be like that for the first time. One of my earliest memories of my life that I can still remember is of me going to preschool. My most recent memory is writing this caption while sitting in the business school building of my university. It’s so crazy to think that this huge chunk of my life that I would call the first chapter is going to be officially over. I have learned so much and am beyond thankful for this journey and opportunity. That being said, I’m pretty fricken ready for what’s to come next. This life is my canvas and I’m going to paint it how I want to. @ Yosemite National Park

Just a simple picture of our beautiful camper truck parked on a black sand beach underneath the northern lights AND the milky way. This was definitely the best way to end a long day of running and driving around Iceland. After cooking up delicious burgers on the stove, we sipped on some hot cocoa in our cozy camper, and admired the mesmerizing night sky.

Where the hell do I even start...Okay so our whole trip to Iceland was based off of one main goal, which was to see the Northern Lights (which I had never seen before). After getting soaked at Skógafoss, I drove into the night to reach the southeastern side of Iceland because the forecast had called for a high chance of seeing the lights in that region due to clear skies. As we were getting sleepy on the endless road, I spotted a green shimmer in the sky. I kept on thinking it was just the reflection of something from the dashboard onto the windshield but the shimmer kept getting brighter and brighter. All of a sudden, the whole sky blew up with green and purple and we all instantly woke ourselves up. I could barely keep my eyes on road as we freaked out over what was happening above us. I’ve seen pictures of the Aurora Borealis before but seeing it in person was beyond insane. The lights literally dance in the sky like curtains and they constantly move, disappear, and reappear again like they’re alive. Never in my life did I actually think I would see this beautiful natural phenomenon but on the night of October 7, 2018, I witnessed something I will never forget. @ Iceland
