Just a reminder that I’ll be mostly offline this week as I’m busy wearing several hats at the Siskiyou Golden Fair! 🎡📸

I’ll be serving as the fair photographer while also chasing kids between livestock shows and baseball games, so responses may be a little slower than usual.

Such a fun day with an amazing couple, a whole lot of love, and one seriously beautiful venue. There are so many good photos from this wedding that narrowing down a few previews was nearly impossible.

The Little Shasta Church has been part of this valley since 1878, and for Lindsay’s family, it’s been part of their story for generations.

Nearly 150 years after it was built, the church still stands as a reminder of the families who helped shape this community and the generations that have called this valley home.

It felt like the perfect place to capture a few quiet moments before celebrating the start of Lindsay and David’s next chapter. 🫶🏻

📣 A Quick Heads Up! 📣

Starting Sunday, I may be a little slower than usual responding to messages and inquiries. I’d love to say I’m taking a week off, but it’s actually the complete opposite! 😅

I’ll be spending the week as the official photographer for the Siskiyou Golden Fair while also cheering on my kids as they show their livestock projects. On top of that, my boys will be traveling for All-Star baseball, so it’s going to be a busy week full of fairgrounds, ball fields, and camera gear!

I will absolutely get back to all inquiries as soon as I have a moment between events, but please allow a little extra time for responses.

Be ready to be so sick of me posting every moment of this perfect day. 🫶🏻 Some weddings are beautiful. Some weddings just feel like home

The mountain journey to the ceremony was enough to remind me why I love this place we call home, but getting to celebrate Lindsay and David made it even more special.

I’ve known Lindsay all of my life, so getting to witness this next chapter was pretty special. Choosing a date that honored Mamoo’s birthday was just the beginning of the thoughtful touches woven throughout the day, and her presence was felt in so many sweet ways.

Lindsay’s dad singing is always a joy, but watching her sweet niece Ava sing during the first dance was something special. It was one of those moments that reminds you what weddings are really about.

And then there was the dress. The dress that I may or may not have influenced her into buying. 😂 No regrets.

What I loved most, though, was how genuine it all felt. Just two people surrounded by the people who love them most, celebrating a love they’ve found, fought for, and truly deserve.

Lindsay and David, thank you for letting me capture it all. 🫶🏻

Just when I’m in the thick of wedding season, balancing a business, motherhood, baseball, horses, and all the chaos that comes with it, I’m reminded exactly why I love what I do.

Getting to capture photos like these of sweet Dylann with her market lamb projects is such a gift. Watching young people pour their hearts into their animals, learn responsibility, and grow through agriculture is something special.

Dylann is this year’s Montague Junior Rodeo Queen, and she truly represents what that title stands for. She’s hardworking, kind, dedicated, and one of those well rounded kids who isn’t afraid to put in the work. Whether she’s representing her rodeo community, or caring for her lambs, she does it with grace and a smile.

If you’re headed to the Siskiyou Golden Fair, make sure to stop by and see Dylann and her lambs. She’s worked hard for this moment, and I know she’d love your support.

Every year I tell myself I’ll take fewer sessions around the holidays… and every year the calendar fills up!

I have a limited amount of fall session dates available for families wanting updated portraits, holiday card photos, or seniors that want the fall leaves!

Once these dates are booked, I won’t be adding more.
