the foundation that stimulates my curiosity and expands my heart. The making of photographs return to me the essence of discipline, compassion, humility and a deep appreciation for the simple and yet complex beauty of this wonderful creation we call home. When people learn that I am a photographer they often ask me “What do I photograph?” and to tell you the truth I can’t provide a simple category. I make photographs of what moves me, attracts my curiosity, suggests a story, or evokes an emotional or intellectual reaction. In contrast to the often hectic pace that life can demand, I try to convey a sense of peace, calm tranquility, emotion and humor in my photographs. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.
