This one engagement session with Luke & Monica Street led to a lifelong friendship. I’ve captured their wedding day, anniversaries, maternity for both their boys, and yearly family pictures.

This is what it feels like for me to build legacy. To be different than the average photographer you hire. To care about you as a person, not just the transaction of a session. This is what I prayed to God to let my business be about and I’m forever grateful I keep boldly keeping him at the forefront of it all.

Is there anything like being with your girls for your wedding day?! I was just recently with three of my best friends who were also my bridesmaids a decade ago and it was such a gift to be with them for 35 hours in one place.

You could tell how much Mary Jane Goodson Lewis loved all of her girls and enjoyed the whole day with them. Nothing quite as wonderful as good friends 🤍

We constantly get told “AI IS GOING TO TAKE OUR JOBS” but in my experience, they have lots of sass and clearly still need me to pick better locations so they don’t have to work so hard 🤷🏻‍♀️

Photographers - please tell me you can totally relate to this because as a girl who loved the Schitts Creek series and feel like I do nothing but edit some weeks, this felt like the conversations I constantly have in my head 😂🤣🫣

I get the privilege of hugging their necks again in 2027 as I photograph Gabrielle’s younger brother and his beautiful bride in Wilmington NC. Serving families more than once is a rare gift in this industry and I can’t wait to be with them again.
